After picking up a few things, we decided it was time to see Santa Claus! As I waited to take pictures, DH got in line with the little one. She had told us she wanted to see Santa and that she was going to sit on his lap. I had my doubts though as she had yet to sit on any Santa’s lap. We attempted the mall Santa’s back home but she would have none of it, only waving from a safe and comfortable distance. Candy, treats and other bribes never worked so I waited and wondered. When her turn came she looked a bit terrified but DH sat her on the arm of Santa’s thrown and this is how she looked. Even though she appeared to not enjoy it, I can assure you that were not the case. As she ran out to me, she was grinning and exclaimed she loved Santa Claus. Aww. My sweet little girl.
Sitting on the thrown with Santa. Notice how she is holding both Daddy's hand and Santa's hand!
Oh my goodness, I just love this picture!!
It was there at Santa’s Workshop that I received our first Disney Photopass card. As I had read on our beloved DISboards, I quickly snapped a picture of the back of it. As I did so, I heard a man state, “
oh, you know what you are doing”! I turned around to see a Disney cast member. He was smiling and said that I was so smart. I chuckeled ‘cuz I knew if it weren’t for the DIS I probably never would have thought of it! So thanks all you guys on the DIS!!! I was now assured that even if I lost the Photopass card, Disney would still be able to find our photos since I had preserved the card number on our digital camera. I tried to give my DH that, “
see why I read the DISboards” story and he just grinned and gave me a hug.
After all that we just walked around, enjoying the sights and stores. Our DD loved seeing all the Disney character statutes. She would run right up to them and hug them and climb all over them, She would blurt out their names in such a cute way, one could not help but notice all her excitement. I wondered if she would react the same way once she meant the real characters. Tomorrow would tell and I could only hope!!
This picture is a little out of focus but I love how you can see all her excitement.
She really loves Donald Duck.
She is getting used to smiling for the camera. Good girl! Hahaha.
Aww, a doggie! Big dogs don't scare her. We have a 100 pound lab here at home.
Notice the little dog house (purse?) she found?
Of course we can't forget good ole Micky and Minnie!
A kiss for Minnie!
A kiss for Mickey!
Outside there was plenty to look at as well.
Daddy helping her look over the water.
This picture is not the best but I love the way she is pointing out something to us.
Checking out one of the Lego displays!
Another Lego display.
One of the few pictures you will see of me and the little one.
Look how she is holding onto the ears! Haha.
Well, as the night grew on, we headed back to the bus, knowing that tomorrow would be a day to remember. For it was off to the Magic Kingdom and the most happiest place in earth!
