ToonTown & the Judge’s Tent
Seeing how well our little one interacted with Winnie the Pooh, we decided it was time for her to meet her all-time favorite, Minnie Mouse! So off we headed to ToonTown to see what we could see. The “
Welcome to Mickey’s ToonTown Fair” sign instantly drew in our DD. She ran right up to it and pointed out all the characters and then asked, “Where’s Pluto”? Hmmm…that was a mighty fine question. Did you ever notice that the “fab five” was missing one? Poor Pluto.
Spying this sign, our little one ran right up to it.
Anyway, we were off to visit Mickey and Minnie. First up was Minnie Mouse’s house. Let me tell you, this was so cute. Our little one truly believed we were in Minnie’s house. She checked out all the rooms, with the sewing room and the kitchen being her favorite. Here are a few pictures from that experience.
Approaching Minnie's house, our little one just took off. I remember right after I took this picture she turned around and said, "Come on Mom". Haha.
Checking out Minnie's sewing machine.
Off to the next room.
Looking up at the kitchen.
I think she was really amazed that this was Minnie's kitchen.
She couldn't believe there was a cake in the oven! Yummy.
Tea, anyone?
After a nice tour of Minnie’s house, we decided to go straight for the Judge’s tent and see whom we could find. I thought it was great that they split the lines into three depending on which characters you wanted to see. Without that, I fear we may still be there standing in line. Haha…hey now, as far as I am concerned waiting in any line at Walt Disney World beats not being at Disney at all. Note so sure my DH would feel the same way. Oh well. Not everyone can be as smart as us DISers!! Hahahaha...
Of course choosing a line was simple…Mickey and Minnie! That had to be it. Our wait was short-lived and before we knew it we were ushered into the room to meet our favorite characters. Unfortunately Mickey was not available but Minnie, Pluto and Goofy were. The little one had no trouble interacting with all three, as you can tell by the following pictures.
This is one of my favorite pictures. I love how they are hugging and how DD has her hand on Minnie's cheek!
I just had to have a close-up shot!
Playing around with Minnie. Looks like some kind of silly dance here...haha.
Minnie trying to say goodbye.
DD did not want to leave Minnie, so she hugged her again!
Created this sketch from one of my pictures and just thought it looked kinda cool. LOL.
