Thank you. I'm sorry for you too. I actually live in Bayville! This disease is horrible. I don't understand why there isn't more done for it.
Bayville, we are practically neighbors! My mom passed away in August like I mentioned and in November we had this huge group of our family and friends walk in her honor in the Heather Saler Lung cancer walk in Pennsauken through the Lungevity Foundation. we were the top team! We raised almost $6000 for Lung cancer and it felt awesome! We plan on walking every year in her honor to help raise awareness for this awful disease! You are right, there is not enough research done for Lung Cancer that is why we need to make people aware of it! My sister & I may are even trying to set up our own walk in Hunterdon County where my family is from for next year.
It feels good to get involved with raising money for the disease that ultimately took my mom's life. Maybe it would help you too. everyone is different but just thought i would share something that has definitely helped me and my family.
