My mom just reached ONEderland!!!

She just called me with her good news, and I'm so very proud of her!!!

(She doesn't WISH, but she hears about all you guys from me. )

This is the first time in 6 years that she's been under 200 pounds. She's a WW (like me), made Lifetime many years ago (like me), and fell off the wagon and got run over by it (like me!)

After having some heart problems, and being told by her doctor that her heart was actually fine, but just sized for someone 140 pounds instead of 225, she knew she had to make some changes in her life. So we've been doing WW together- she attends a different meeting, but we have healthy lunches together a lot and she spends frequent weekends at my house. With healthy snacks. Her apartment complex has a workout room, and she's been cycling, walking, or another exercise every morning before work.

I'm taking her to WDW in December, and she's been very motivated to get in better shape before our trip. She wants to have lots of energy and be able to do all that walking without pooping out quickly.

And she's very excited about meeting my WISH buddies there!!!

That is simply wonderful news. It's great that you can be a team and work so closely together too.

I too think that mom-daughter healthyness is such a good thing - I would still be 29 pounds heavier if it wasn't for that fact that we started together and Molli made me feel like YES I could do it.

I think your message has just been an inspiration booster for me too to get the next few off before that WDW Dec trip. I seem to be stalling - I think I am committed - then shoot I am slipping off that wagon myself or at least have my leg and foot dangling!

We are saving your seats, and we'll do anything we can to help you get here. It feels SO GOOD to see those scales moving down... and breaking into the 100s is such an exciting milestone!! It's better than Tower of Terror and RockNRoller Coaster rolled into one!!! (Right, Terry? )

If you have any doubt of that, you should have heard Mom's voice on the phone when she told me her news!

But EVERY milestone we pass on the way deserves celebration and shouting from the rooftops, too! I love seeing my friends change their clippies, 5 pounds at a time. Jody, I'm especially proud of you right now. You've had a LONG year, and I think you're really starting to hit your stride now. You've been a constant source of energy and motivation for so many, many WISHers all year. I'm thrilled to see that you're getting such great results!

It makes me proud to see how many WISHers are in this for the long haul, and how much inspiration and support is shared by one and all.
