Oh well I know that "come home" call. I got it twice in the past six months...

Your Mom was not alone. She was in the arms of the Lord. And believe me, she is where she wanted to be.

This life is hard, our bodies weaken, it's hard for those of us who are left but for those who are leaving, they are doing so much better than we are.

I look so forward to seeing my parents and my child one day. Right now they're all laughing and talking and wondering WHY their kids are hurting so much. We never want our children to be in pain so take my word for it, you will feel your mother's presence now in everything you do.

It is hard to believe for those who have not lost their Mom, but those who have know what I'm saying.

So sorry to hear the news Margie. When my wife's father passed away several years ago, he was home alone. His wife had gone to look after an elderly lady. Sue had spoken to him that day on the phone (which is a blessing). I still cry when I think about it.

Your mom isn't alone anymore. And she's not in pain. She doesn't have to struggle to hang onto life. Although I grieve your loss, I know in my heart that she is in a better place.
