Yesterday- 11:00 a man walks into my psych class- says "i need Brandy"...I immediatly think- something happened with my mom- because everyone knows my school schedule, and if it was the DD's school, they would have called my cell phone...
Sure enough- its the discharge nurse "your mom is being discharged how long will it take you to get here"....well about 4 hours- what are you planning on doing just tossing her to the curb?

Anyways- she's home, I will be writing a letter to the CEO of that hospital in regards to a few things, and also to the license board of the state for the actions of 1 nurse...other than that- she's at my aunts, single floor- PT came in today from the VNA, and she will have him 2x a week for 4-8 weeks. She's walking "okay" with slight pain, is off the narcotics, and only on Tylenon, and is on an antibiotic for a UTI, more than likely caused by the 6 hour straight cath's she had for 3 days, until i realized what the heck was going on...
oh- my brother's wife had her baby this morning too- Owen Michael- 8lbs 1oz, 19 inches...big brother connor is doing well, and mom's in minimal discomfort.
