YAY, I want to drive all night and join them tomorrow! They purchased 1 day PHs through the website so they'll be able to take their print out straight to the gates. I'm not sure what she's gonna do about a wheelchair still.

Last week or so I mentioned that my mom and brother (21) will be in the Riverside area this week (we got them the Ontario Airport Marriott) as I was driving my mom to the airport this morning she mentioned that when she spoke with my bro last night they decided to visit DLR one day this week. I suggested they visit tomorrow (Wed.)

My ?'s ~

DL opens @ 9am, what time should they leave the ONT area?

They will be parking something she nor I have ever done, how does this work, where does one park?

My mom's foot is broken! It's a stress fracture, she's in a walking cast/boot thing ~ I told her to rent a wheel chair! She might rent one in the Riverside area and just keep it in the trunk, or she'll rent one from Disney. If she rents outside of Disney can she take the wheelchair on the parking tram/shuttle? She'd be able to get onto the tram herself I think.

Any other suggestions? I'm so excited for them!

She can park at the Mickey & Friends parking. It is $12/day. I would suggest renting the wheelchair prior to arriving at the park....just because the walk from the parking could be long (depending on how early they get there & crowd levels). The tram does have a wheelchair accessible car....so they could use that or if she wanted, they could collapse the chair & sit with it in the regular seats.

I can't help on the rest but I hope they have a wonderful time!!!!

Unfortunately they will be going with traffice in the a.m.:scared1: I would suggest leaving at 7 a.m. This should give them time to drive, park, and tram in. It's surprising how long it can take to park and ride the trim. Mabye even a little before 7 would be good.

I 2nd bringing their own wheel chair. The trams are set up to accomodate them.

If they are driving from Ont. have them get to the 57 fwy. (there's several ways to get there) and exit at Ball Rd. Turn right, heading west. Follow the signs to DLR. As they approach DLR area they'll want to be in the left lane (after they go over 5 fwy). Then they'll just follow the signs into the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

I am disable and can attest to getting a wheelchair offsite as it is a long long walk to the front gate. If she decides she does not need the wheelchiare while in the park then she can have it stored taht the stroller rental area for free.

Yes there is a ramp and loading area for wheelchairs.
