I know this is not Disney related but I need wedding help!

My MOH sent out Facebook invites to my bachelorette party last night. When I went through the guest list, I noticed she had invited 7 people who were not invited to my wedding and I really do not want there! She did my shower so she had the list of people from my wedding so I don't know what she was thinking! These people were not invited for a reason. I really wouldn't be distraught if they came to my bachelorette party, but they are not invited to my wedding and I do not want them to assume they are! I have already paid for the catering and we are getting ready to work on seating charts next week. What do we do now? HELP PLEASE!

Some people came to my bridal shower who were not invited to the wedding, nor would they have come had they been invited due to the travel involved.

I would kindly explain to your MOH that they are not invited and you just wanted to make sure she knew ahead of time and that they knew a bachelorette party invite was different from a wedding invite. If they feel snubbed by the lack of invite, I am sure they probably wouldn't show up for the bachelorette party if they really had wanted to come to your wedding.

There were lots of people at my bridal shower and my bachelorette party who were not invited to the wedding (we had a Disney Intimate so we only had 8 guests!). I know this is not technically correct if you are strict with etiquette but it's done a lot now-a-days. I would not worry about this! If you'd don't have a problem with them coming to the bachelorette then just let it go (but do tell your MOH these folks are not invited to your wedding just so she knows). You are under no obligation to then invite them to the wedding. I highly doubt anyone would show up to your wedding if they didn't receive a wedding invitation, and a bachelorette invitation does not mean a wedding invitation.

HTH!!

If they'd been invited to your shower then that's one thing, but a bachelorette party doesn't hold the same etiquette. Technically you're not supposed to invite anyone to your shower who isn't invited to the wedding, but for a bachelorette party you can invite anyone you darn well please. :)
