My MIL is so funny!

I just went and picked up my DS3 and my MIL put $20 in my pocket. She does this everytime I see her! I try to give it back but she insists and then will put it in the kids' bags.

This woman would give you everything she owns. She also put 5 sweet potatoes, 2 flashlights and some wet wipes in the front seat of my van.

My FIL on the other hand wouldn't give you a dime.

How sweet! When I was in college, everytime I saw my dad he would give me $20. One time, he told me, "I forgot to get some cash, so this is all I have," and he handed me $12. That stopped the day I graduated, of course.

That sounds like my Grandma and MOm. Dh just laughes everytime I see either one I bring home a ton of stuff. MOstly from Mom it is detergents, meat, snacks for dd. And grandma is 88 but makes cookies, brownies or something every week for us. They feel like they are doing something and I am the closest kid (See them every friday), so hey bring on the goodies!

my dad is a firefighter and i have known most of the guys there since i was about 5...when i go in , if a certain firemen i know is working, he slips a 20 in my pocket every time--i tell him he doesnt need to do that, but he tells me he remembers when he was in college and tells me not to tell anyone
