my Michaels isn't going to carry We R Memory Keeper albums anymore

I have been using the 3 ring We R Memory Keeper (solid fronts). I needed a certain color and when my DH asked, she said they won't have that color coming in later because they aren't going to carry them any more.

;(

So I started ordering a BUNCH from JoAnn's online because they were half price and they were out of several colors that I needed.

Should I be worried? Any one heard that they are discontinuing them?

I doubt they are being discontinued, they seem to be very popular. Michael's seems to be switching out the name brand stuff for their own Recollections collection. Chances are, they will still carry very similar albums (or the same, just listed under the Recollections brand name. I know they do this with paper collections).

As for Joann's, if the albums were 50% and they happened to have a free shipping code, it does not surprise me that they are sold out of colors. That is the best deal around for those albums.

If you are looking for black, red, lime, teal, and I think brown, Target has just started carrying WRMK albums in 12x12 and 8x8.

Bummer. Sounds like they are just phasing them into their own brand. I noticed less and less brands, more recollections.

I'm just getting into them, since princessnancy is an enabler! I just placed an order.... What colors were you looking for?

A "newsletter" went out Wednesday, I think. Check your spam...sometimes they end up in crazy places. Or like the fb that where lots of info is announced.

Thanks guys! I was looking for colbalt blue and forest green but I got them.

That is too sad about Michael's starting to phase them out. I know they were popular around here. Our Target doesn't carry them . Maybe they will but they don't have any yet. I'll keep checking there in the future when I need more.

In the past, AC Moore has also carried these albums.

But one of the cheapest places is Joann's when they have sales.

i really don't see Michaels' phasing these out, they JUST starting carrying them right before Christmas. and I am sure they are SUPER popular with all the people doing Project Life.
