My master Plan looking for advice

I am looking for suggestions.I currently have reservation at Beach club April 13-18.

There is a possiblity that I may have to change the dates to april15-23.
I have devised a plan that I would like some imput from my fellow DVC'ers
Here is the plan BCV april 15-18

Leave Disney and stay at outside Villa possibly one of the marriotts april 18-20.

april20-23 back to DVC OKW with waitlist for BCV or Boardwalk.
The reason for leaving those two days is to avoid some of the holiday crowds in the World and to see other areas and to save some points on friday and saturday. These 2 days will most likely be spent relaxing pool side or maybe seaworld.

Does this plan make any sense??
Can anyone reccomend an off site location simular to DVC any one stay at any of the marriotts or Westgate.

Any suggetions will be helpful.We will be travelling with Myself,Wife 13 yo ,5 yo,and 2 yo.

It sounds like a good plan to me. I told DBF that next year we should check out on the weekends to save some points,- maybe check in to two different DVC resorts for five days each..... and we almost always travel to other parts of Florida during our vacation anyway, so the weekends would be the perfect time to do it.

As for where to stay.....well there are lots of great places to choose from.

Prior to purchasing DVC we stayed two nights at RonJon resort on 192.

You can look them up at www.islandone.com. Their accomodations are VERY similar to DVC and a one bedroom runs about $169 a night, but I don't know about the location. It was fine for us, but I know some people like to be more in the thick of things....it's not that far away, but it's down by Splendid China, so you would definitely want to have a car if you'll be going anwyhere. The place even has it's own mini waterpark which is nice too. The accomodations are great, just be warned DO NOT take the timeshare tour!!!!!
