Actually, not much of one, BUT, I went to McDonalds, we only had a little time because we had to go to Walmart and buy Harry Potter. McD's is on the way back to the office. We ran in and I got................A big and tasty with cheese and no tomato (which I hate, anyway) and a diet coke.

Came back to my desk and ate the meat, the lettuce, the onions, the cheese that stuck to the meat, and threw the bread in the garbage! Oh, it had mayo on it, too. And it is now 3pm, and I have had one gallon of water in addtition to the diet coke. I am amazed at myself, because I really like fries from McDs and I am now finishing week 4 of Atkins, and still, NO CHEATING or SLIDING!

Hooray for this board keeping me motivated. Dh says he can really tell I am losing. That helps, too.

Everyone, have a good weekend. Stay busy, stay out of the food unless it's the right thing at the right time. Do chair arobics if you can't get out and walk, keep up the good work, set small goals that you can reach, rejoice in each day that we have.
 
chair aerobics? I have heard of this, but have have not actually seen it or had it described....could you tell me?

It is geared to those in wheel chairs, but can be done by anyone. I don't like to jar my knees or ankles, and this isn't going to do that. I am an exercise hater, but I am going to start this program.
 
I had to laugh at that - I had a double cheesburger the other day and you should have seen the mess I got into trying to eat it without the bun - Zach nearly fell off his bench in giggle at the mess going everywhere!! whilst stuffing down his happy meal superfast in case I stole his fries - as if I would!

He thinks everything about this is hysterical especially the way I have to smell everything he eats to get some kind of subliminal satisfaction.

Now, that I have that out of the way....I want to tell you how proud I am of you. It's just the greatest feeling, isn't it? Taking control and keeping control. I have found Atkins is the easiest eating plan for me to follow and I've just about followed all of them at one time or another :rolleyes:

It gets easier and easier. I've always loved McD's fries, that's really all I've ever liked to eat there. I know, however, that if I eat just one I might be addicted again. I have to totally abstain and it is a painless abstinence.

I've never had to <i>force</i> myself to eat before.

Good for you for not backsliding!

Next time order it without the bun. Then you won't loose any of that wonderful cheese or mayo to the bun!;)

My favorite lunchtime meal is a chicken cheesesteak minus the bun. YUM, YUM, YUM!
