I just so happened to be early for my son othorpedic appt and it just so happens to be next to a LSS. I don't really shop there anymore because they are very snobby but just my luck today I walked in and they are going out of business. WooHoo Everything is only 20% off but all the shelving is on sale. I got a great rod iron paper rack with about 20 shelves for $80. It is really actually pretty and will match my scrapping furniture. I wanted the making memories shelves but they were $250. They were beautiful! I don't get my shelf yet, they have to get rid of all the paper on it first. Which is fine becuase I told my DS it can be my Christmas present.

Then I find out my DS needs therapy (he broke his arm) not lucky for him but lucky for me i will be able to check back at the store often for other bargins!! :rotfl:

For those of you that live in the DC metro area it is the Scrapbook Corner in Germantown

Talk about making Lemonades from Lemons.....
Hope your sons' surgery goes well :grouphug: (but ALL those f/u visits to the MD) ....too BAD :rotfl:

sorry to hear about your son but HOW COOL FOR YOU! Wow - how fun, really! And what if no one else buys the Making Memories shelf? Maybe they will make you a "deal" on it. They need to get rid of it, right? Keep us posted!
