My loss is your gain - Beautiful WH condo available in May

I can't believe this is happening, but we have to postpone our trip in May! Our school district has extended the school year by a week to make up snow days - which, of course, was the week I had planned for our Disney vacation and booked a lovely 3 bedroom townhouse in WH.

Good news for any late planners is that a great place is now available May 24-31.

I have not stayed here, but I can tell you the owners have been very helpful and cooperative. I will be rebooking. ASAP!

Our schools don't do anything for the last week or so of school. We are planning to skip the last day.

If I already had reservations and the schedule got changed, I think I'd just let them miss. I doubt there would be any penalty that late in the year.

Well, that's what I thought at first...But it's been a big deal here this year - parent meetings, heated debates about making them up spring break (as usual) v. end of year. There was a vote and we were in the minority. Can't very well teach teens that democracy means doing whatever you want when your side doesn't win. So, rescheduling was the only option for us.

But I sooooo wish we could make it...Love Disney in May!
