I just put together a pair of overalls for DD for our day at Animal Kingdom. I can barely sew, so I was pretty happy with how they turned out! Just wanted to share...they're almost done except I'm going to have MIL embroider "Jambo" down the leg.

I'd be proud to have my little girl in those!!

They are adorable! Your daughter is going to be so cute!

Adding my kudos! Those are too cute. And denim is tough to sew (for me anyway).

How adorable!!! She will be the cutest kiddo there.. :goodvibes

Super cute. On a good day I might be able to sew on a button. :rotfl2: You did a great job. :earsgirl:

I basically cut out a piece of the background fabric by tracing the bib of the overalls. Then I traced and cut out a Mickey head out of the yellow fabric and used Durabond (an iron on adhesive) to attach it to the bib piece. Then I used a "tight" zig zag stitch on the machine to sew around the Mickey head. :)
I sewed button holes on the bib part for the buttons to come through and then secured the whole piece to the overall bib.
