Ok, if you've been reading about the MLP fill-a-box for $18.00 deal at Downtown Disney (there is also a smaller assortment of accessories and display at the big store in Toon Town) and have been wondering what it was all about, here are some pictures that I took last week when we were there.

Here is the big display:

Here is the box that you can fill with ponies, pony princess clothing, and toy accessories like a boom box, dressing mirror, popcorn machine (big, takes up a lot of room in the box), blankets, shoes, etc etc etc - it all has to fit inside the box and the top has to close.

And if you're having trouble fitting everything into the box that you want to get, ask for help from the CM behind the counter! :D

My Aurora was SO EXCITED to do this, and had the most fun here! :goodvibes

We enjoyed this on our last trip. Thanks for posting the photos - looks like you had a grat trip!

my 2 yr old just looked at your pictures and said "I need pony". I think this is on our list for next summer.

We did this for my daughter. I packed the box and got her about $30 worth. I could not manage that with the potato head so we did not get it.

How cute!! My DD will love that. But do they still sell the potato head parts? We want to get those too on the next trip.

Yep, still have the Potato Head stuff, too! :cool1:

I didn't know about this but it will be perfect for DD (5) and we'll be there in 26 days!

This is that toy store in DTD right? I can't remember the name of it . . .

Thanks for posting the pictures - they are great!

My dd7 is a MLP freak! Can't wait to show her these pix, thanks! We will have to do this in December. Ds10 is excited about the Lego store (we have been there before, but he is more into Legos now!) Great thread!

Thanks so much for the pictures my DD4 and DD4 (twins) have several ponies but no accessories. It was great to see what it is all about. :)

Thanks for the potato head idea. We have the basic one here, but I was thinking I could pick up new accessories at DTD. My 2 year old asked for "My Wittle Pony" last year for Christmas so I bought her two. She has not touched them since. I think she saw the commercial and liked it, but now they sit in her toy chest, ignored. Oh well. Thank goodness I didn't get the stuff at DTD.

I heard about the Mr Potato head, but never MLP. My DD is just getting into them. I will have to check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the pictures, your DD is a doll! :goodvibes

are the parts ok for under 3...my gbaby loves my little ponies but wonder about the accessories thanks

I dont' think I would give a young toddler some of the accessory pieces. There are lots of very small pieces that a little one could choke on. Here's a pic (excuse my nightshirt) that shows some of the little pieces that are available.

thanks for the quick reply..guess we could get a box and if there isn't enough big stuff just get something else

We just did this last week to bring home as a gift for my neice. One thing I want to stress that the OP said is to ask for help. I was giving up putting a bed in my box and she came over and did it for me! I was able to fit 3 ponies in my box plus tons of clothes, ice cream bars etc!

My DD 5 just saw this and came downstairs with a baggie full of change. She's ready to fill a MLP box NOW!! She can't wait till our trip now. Too bad it's still a year away! ;)

So no matter what you get it only costs $18? Wow what a deal!! I'll have to keep that in mind.
