She's got a little fever, and I just sent her back to bed.

My son was home yesterday.... the doc said it's just a cold but it wreaks havoc with his asthma.:( He's insisting he's going today- so we are gonna try it.

Good luck to your dd.... hope it passes.

Thanks mermaid, good luck with your's too.

you know shes tricking you, as soon as school starts she will feel better, if shes in her bedroom

Nah, no tricks today. She does have a fever, and she hasn't had time to put the thermometer to a light bulb yet. LOL

One word...........

LYSOL !!!!!!

(Seriously, you are more susceptible to nasty little bugs when you are under stress. My mother swears by spraying doorknobs and other such places. Handwashing is good, Lysol is adds another level of defense.)

Take care of yourself and your family, too!

Thanks Claudia :) , how are you all doing?

My "little" one (he's 14) is home again today too. He's had a really bad sore throat and is sniffly today.

Hmm.. me too. Mine is 17 months and he is sneezing, coughing, and runny/stuffy nose. He has 2 molars coming in, so I don't know if that has something to do with it or not. The sneezing and coughing seems to be a side effect from the very runny/snotty/stuffy nose. :( I saw 1 molar did pop through, and the other side is very reddish and swollen with a little white on top of that too.

I sure hope that your little one starts to feel better soon. Stress does seems to cause weaker immune systems, so that may be why they are feeling a bit under the weather. Hang in there, and snuggle with that little one. I'll bet you anything that will help... both of you! :)
