Marcie, it's so funny you said that. I almost did in my earlier post.

Chattyaholic, that's exactly what happened to me. I had to say goodbye to my kitty as she was relieving herself all over the house also. I said, "never again." One day we went to a friends home to visit for the evening. When we pulled into the driveway, there was a little black and white kitten at their door. They said she had been there for the last 10 hours. They are highly allergic to cats, so they couldn't let her in. Well, it was winter and it was cold, so we took the cat home with us for the night so she could be warm. My friends called vets and spca and the local police, looked for signs on poles for a lost kitten. No one ever spoke up. That was about 5 years ago. You just never know. Sometimes your angel can come to you as a kitty cat. Hope your ok!

I'm so sorry. We had to put our 15 1/2 year old cat Muffin to sleep this past summer. We said no new cat too. It's been 6 months and we are thinking of it after the holidays. It's just so hard to see kittys on tv and everywhere else. We know we can't replace Muffin, but look at it as a new chapter. I hope your kitty and Muffin are playing at the Rainbow Bridge together tonight!

I've had to put two cats down so far - one was 18, one was 19 - and I am now a mom to three more, one is 11, two are 5. I am dreading when that day comes again. They are truly my children.
