My kitty crossed the Rainbow Bridge today :-(

to you. We rescue senior dogs and we had one two years ago who had a tumor in his jaw also. We got to the same point as you, with the bleeding and such. We had to make a tough decision but we knew it was for the best. Mittens is beautiful and looks as though he may have had quite the personality! You'll be in my thoughts

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

Your Mittens bears a striking resemblance to our sweet baby Hobbes, who went to the Rainbow Bridge on November 23, 2005. Hobbes had a number of ailments and dealt with his medicines and treatments like a real pro. We lost him almost 1 year to the day that he had emergency surgery to remove bleeding stomach ulcers. His vet said it was a miracle he survived the surgery and I know we were lucky to have him as long as we did. I'm also thankful that I was able to hold him and comfort him as he took his last breath. I still pray for Hobbes every day. I hope he knows how much he meant to us and how much we miss him.

Hobbes is quite a social butterfly. I'm sure he greeted Mittens with a hearty "Meow!" and is now showing him the ropes.
