So JC Penney called to tell me that they won't be able to print the pictures of my kids (DD6, DD4, DS 9 months). Something about the film being put in the wrong way and now any pictures taken that day have to be redone. I am so bummed about this. For one thing, it was quite a feat getting them all to the studio, doing three individual shots and the together ones. These were my son's first "portraits" (he's my third, so don't yell at me for just getting them now). Plus, getting my oldest daughter to smile for the camera is like pulling teeth. My middle girl is a ham, so she looked great as usual. The shots looked so good on screen and I was thrilled to have a successful time.
Now, we have the option to do them again or get refunded. I'll definitely reschedule the baby, but not sure if I should just take my own "portrait" of the three of them. I don't know how to feel about this mishap either. My only complaint was that the poses were pretty bland. But given they all smiled, I was happy. Now I'm angry, disappointed, laughing, sighing...all over the place. I guess I needed to vent. Thanks everyone.

I sympathize with you whole-heartedly. It's quite a trick to get three little kids dressed and smiling for their Christmas pictures. I think I'd just get the baby's pic redone and take some snaps of all three playing together at home.
