My kid met Guy Fieri

I sang Christmas carols at Martha Stewart's house in high school with my accapella group during her holiday party. She kept us in the garage until she was ready, then was very angry we wanted to stand close together so we could hear each other. (She wanted us spread out up a flight of stairs.) No food, no token gift, no thank you.. although I think she did send a note to my director later. We were extremely unimpressed, although the spread looked amazing.

My daughter's friend was an actress when she was younger, so she gave us the inside scoop on a lot of actors. She was the oldest daughter in "Mrs. Doubtfire" and said Robin Williams was just THE BEST, so sweet and kind to her and Pierce Brosnan was also wonderful with all the kids. The one actor she really was negative about was John Goodman, he was apparently really a jerk. Also that guy who was the father on Full House - can't remember his name now - but she found him totally conceited and annoying.

Elijah Wood...very bad tipper, >:( standoffish to wait staff but was mobbed by fans before he came into the restaurant, so maybe he was just worn down?

Heath Ledger....very good tipper. Nice guy, funny. Spent 20 minutes just bsing with me, one of the servers, and his buddy.

John Elway...met the first year he was in Denver, and he was so full of himself. thought it was just him being a cocky 20-something year old golden child :sad2:

Carrottop...knocked DH off his feet! :rotfl2:They ran into each other coming around a corner at a Vegas hotel. Bounced DH right down....and DH is 6'4" and solid...but CT is more solid, LOL

Lyle Alzado...so very nice, especially to a certain 5 year old girl, who was so excited about meeting her hero. :lovestruc He even picked me up and moved me up to the stage because the stage stairs were too big for me to climb. David Thompson :confused3(Denver Nuggets) was there too, but I had no idea who he was, nor did I care.

Reminds me of the time I met Ray Stevens at a golf tournament as a kid. At the time he had a few funny songs out and I thought he'd be funny too. Turns out he was a jerk. A real contrast to when I'd met Glenn Campbell earlier in the day and he'd tried to help me fix my camera when it didn't work when I tried to get a photo of him.

If a donkey was on as many steroids at CT, that donkey could win the Kentucky derby!

I was in Atlantic City this weekend and he was at the Bally's Beach Bar. He was roped off with tons of security that wouldn't let anyone near him. Ummmm he's a celebrity chef, not Jay Z or Beyoncé. It was hilarious.

Adam Richman (Man vs. Food) came through Springfield, Illinois (where I lived at the time) and visited a few sports. Word on the street is that he was a perfect gentleman. Until he got some liquor in him. Then he became a big jerk.

I met George Steinbrenner while having breakfast in a Denny's once. Really nice guy which was surprising given his reputation. There were less than 10 people in the whole place and most didn't recognize him. We sat one seat away from each other on barstools. We shared mostly small talk for the ~15 minutes our meals overlapped.

Please tell me he acted just like he was portrayed on Seinfeld. That would be AWESOME!

This doesn't surprise me. We call him Troll doll in our house thanks to his stupid hair. You can totally tell he is full of himself. All because he can rattle off some corny sayings and eat some mediocre food.

Now it's time to do some research and read up on all these other things people have been reading about him.
