Hi everyone! We were at WDW the first week of July, and here are my dining reviews.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe - Dinner
Three of us had a late dinner at WPC, which I love. We had a spinich dip, 2 caesar salads, a chef's sampler sushi, 2 iced teas and a diet Coke. Wonderful WPC meal as usual. Total, excluding tip, was $67.42.

Plaza Restaurant - Lunch
Three of us had lunch at the Plaza Restaurant, which is a MK favorite of mine. We had 2 cheesesteaks, a chicken sandwich, 2 iced teas, and a diet Coke. Great lunch as always. I really enjoy the cheesesteak, but I do wish it was a little larger. Total, excluding tip, was $38.81.

California Grill - Dinner
After a nice day at the MK, and an afternoon rainstorm, we went to the CA Grill. We waited for about a half hour, and were seated in the wine room (we almost always sit in here, but never request it). We had a mushroom flatbread, goat cheese ravioli, romaine salad, mushroom soup, sushi sampler, soft shell crab, beef tenderloin, Valrhona cake, 2 iced teas, and a diet Coke. Awesome dinner! ;) Total was $138.15 excluding tip.

The next day we had breakfast/lunch at Perkins at the Crossroads. It was typical Perkins food. Don't have the receipt for it.

Grand Floridian Cafe - Dinner
This is one of my favorite places to eat, it's at my favorite resort and it is so relaxing. Between the three of us, we had a Spinich dip, 2 small caesar salads, French onion soup, a chicken caesar salad, the prime rib, chocolate mousse cake, tiramisu, 2 iced teas, and a diet Coke. Another great dinner. Total, excluding tip, was $69.78.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe - Lunch
Four of us had lunch at WPC, which, as you know, is a favorite of mine. I really love the bread that they give you to start out with. Today we had a Spicy Tuna Roll, the special of the day pizza (white pizza with 4 cheeses), a mixed green salad, 2 caesar salads, 2 iced teas, a Sprite, and a diet Coke. Great lunch! Can't wait till next trip to go back! Total, excluding tip, was $58.27.

Rose & Crown Pub - Dinner
We ate at Rose & Crown on the fourth of July. Between the four of us, we had the salad with mustard dressing, salad with bleu cheese dressing, the fruit and cheese plate, the wild mushrooms, the roast chicken, the pie sampler, bangers & mash, 3 iced teas, and a diet Coke. Great meal at R&C, which is a usual Disney dinner location for us. Total, excluding tip, was $81.47.

Mama Melrose - Lunch
We had always wanted to try Mama Melrose, but never had before. What a great restaurant! For the four of us, we sampled the caesar salad, caprino cheese, tomato & mozzarella, the Mushroom pizza, the Pepperoni pizza, the chicken pizza, 3 iced teas, and a diet Coke. We'll be eating there again next trip! Total, excluding tip but including the DVC 10% discount, was $57.99.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Review - Dinner
Hoop-Dee-Doo Review had become somewhat of a tradition, we go there every year or so. It was typical Hoop-Dee-Doo, except the ribs weren't as good as they usually are. Plus, our server wasn't very good at all. I think the total was around $196 for 4.

Alfredos - Lunch
Alfredos is a traditional meal for us, too. We had the Antipasto Italiana, the mixed green salad, the Caesar salad w/ chicken, the child's spaghetti, the mushroom pizza, the dessert sampler, 3 iced teas, and a diet coke. Everything was great as usual. Lunch for four, excluding tip but including 10% passholder discount, was $72.74.

'Ohana - Dinner
This was our second time at 'Ohana, the first time in July 2000. We did not enjoy it that time, but enjoyed it much more this time. While we weren't too crazy with the meats, the appetizers were wonderful! Loved the bread, salad, wontons, and wings! Not sure we'll go back next trip, but sometime in the future we probably will. Dinner for four, excluding tax but including a Mai Tai (which was great), was $109.39.

Still to come - Concourse Steakhouse, Pizzafari, Palio, & Planet Hollywood.

Thanks for the great reviews! It is very helpful that you included prices in your review too!!

Where did you end up staying this trip? I seem to remember your going back and forth about where to stay.

Sounds like you had some great meals.

We ended up staying at the Gaylord Palms Resort for the first few nights, then we stayed at the BoardWalk Villas. Gaylord Palms is located on Osceola Parkway, just outside of Disney. It is a beautiful resort, I'd almost have to say nicer than the Grand Floridian. It really is an amazing place.

.

sounds good! is the lunch menu the same as the dinner and do you happen to know the lunch hrs? ( ie continually service form like 11:30 or are they open till like 3 or whatever , then closed till dinner)

The lunch menu is different from dinner. They have burgers and other things at lunch. I know they start serving lunch at 11:30AM, and I'd assume they'd continue until 3:30 or 4. Hope that helps. ;)
