So they add a Jojo/little Einsteins meal at MGM... Geared toward my 3 year old in the family(we also have 12,8,and 1) I think well the 3 year old hates anything Character related so I guess we can skip it. Well my daughter was reading over my shoulder about the meal says" Hey L, Want to eat with Jojo and Goliath when we go to disney?" Now I totally expected a "NO" but instead got a "Yes me go with you to Jo jo breakfast. Me love Jojo." .....great....love jojo...... great.....
Now how do I fit this meal in. We were planning one MGM day! Lunch has to be at the SciFi for everyone- we all love it there. So do I double up on my meals and do a breakfast also? And I had booked Brown Derby for Dinner that night also.... I think that has to go.... We are going in July and I know it is so hot and we never are as hungry as we are now.... What would you do? just skip the meal or pig out on MGM day.

That's a tough one!!! :teeth: It's a new meal and would be great to do. We like sci fi too, have it booked for lunch. Brown Derby was excellent!! I wouldn't want to miss this one, unless you've been there before. Then maybe I would give it up. Way to much food for one day to do all three.
I would try to get the breakfast and skip Sci fi. Maybe it'll be booked and you won't have to do it. At least you tried then, right? :teeth:
Sorry not much help. :rotfl:

Would you consider splitting up?

And letting some of your family go to SCI FI and you take the 3 year old to Jo JO? Is your spouse going along? this might work for you.

Ok well I left everything as it was- and ended up adding the breakfast on another day- *my Teppanyaki/concourse day so I think the Teppanyaki is going to get cut....... So we will do 2 MGM mornings I guess- got to love a little RNR in the AM! I will probably change this... but the news I got....
There are rumors of an Incredibles Meal!!!!! Yes I said it the Incredibles!! So stay posted for more info.... sounded like the year end thing my other CM mentioned........

What if your 3 yo doesn't like the characters when you do the meal? It's one thing to think they want to eat with the tiny things that they see on TV and another thing when they actually see them much larger than they're used to. Honestly, I think your 3 yo will probably forget about it and will be just as happy to see Jo Jo in the park. If your 3yo is scared of Jo Jo, than you haven't lost the time and money to do something that only the 3 yo would have enjoyed.

What about doing all three in one day, everyone eats breakfas, get an early seating. And then share some food, or eat apps at the other 2. This gets you out of the heat a few times during the day. You don't have to gorge yourselves. I am not sure I would want to do 3 sit downs in one day but it is just a thought.

what if you did the SciFi for just a dessert? or appetizers?

Then you could have your big breakfast, your yummy dinner and a nice place to park it and rest/cool down for a snack/dessert?

That's was I would do. I made a ressie at the playhouse for breakfast (9 am) on the same day we are having dinner at Brown Derby (5:30pm). We also love Sci Fi and may make a ressie so we can have a snack there; not like we need it but hey, we're on vacation:sunny:

I think the two day plan sounds good. Do not tell me about an Incredible meal - after the Buzz Lightyear meal fell through I breathed a sigh of relief that I didn't have to scramble my ADRs once again. Isn't it enough that I have to go crazy waiting for AP rates, do I really need to panic about an Incredibles meal. It would only be fair to ds since he's had to go to sooooo many princess meals over the last three years.

I have the same problem with my 2 yr. old. We planned oneating at 50's PT forr lunch and only spend one day at MGM. So now I don't know what to do because DS loves Jojo & little Einstein's. Will you still be able to see Jojo in the park if not at the charcter meal? What about little Einsteins? I heard they are rare charcters. If I can find them in the park then we will skip the meal and eat at 50's PT. otherwise yet one more buffet.

I think I'd go for an early breakfast, just eat light at Sci-Fi...apps and milkshakes, or share a couple of burgers...then have your HBD dinner.
