Saturday afternoon as I was hauling groceries into my house I over hear three girls talking as they are walking by. I'm not sure of their ages, but I put them at 12-14 years old, they looked like normal pre-teens on their way to the lake. I heard one of them say "kinda like having an orgasm" and the other 2 laughed in agreement. I was so shocked!

Oh My god.I probably would have said something to them. I was still talking about barbies at that age.

The only thing that I want to say on their defense is that my girlfriends and I were all giggling about sex at that age. I remember very specifically at age 13 us being on a mission to figure out what was going on and what everything meant. If we had just found out what an orgasm was, I'm sure we would have had lots of orgasm jokes. None of us (that I know of) were sexually active even in high school -- it really didn't mean that we were "bad girls". Just very curious!

I agree with Aunt Polly. While I am sure it was shocking to hear young girls talk that way, it doesn't necessarily mean they have carnal knowledge or even understand the true meaning of the words they are using.

I remember using a few phrases (of sexual nature) WAY before I actually understoood what I was talking about. I thought it made me appear 'cool'...haha...little did I know.
