My itenerary so far. Any thoughts?

I am trying to figure this out. How do people work full time *and* plan a trip to Disney!? Here is what I have so far. What would you add/change? My girls will be 4 and 7 when we travel. When would you add in Crystal Palace? I would rather do it Friday, the last full day but would MK 3 different days be too much?

Sat Jan 27th - drive all day from NC (10-12 hours), sleep about an hour or so outside orlando

Sun Jan 28th - arrive at CSR around 10 AM. Explore resort, lunch at CSR, Epcot in the afternoon

Mon Jan 29th - Breakfast at the Royal Table at 8:50. MK until we get tired, no dinner plans

Tue Jan 30th - AK, break, Neverland for the girls at 6, adult meal at Kona's

Wed Jan 31st - AM? (maybe putt putt?) MK in the afternoon for spectromagic/fireworks

Thur Feb 1 - MGM (will we need a full day for MGM?)

Fri Feb 2 - ??

Sat Feb 3 - leave at some point ... 1/2 day doing something .... somewhere and then start the drive home.

I would leave your open day for things you didn't get to do or see. There are so many parades and shows, its difficult to time so that you can see them all. Plus all the rides!

You'll probably want to go back to either Epcot or Magic Kingdom. Epcot requires a lot of walking, and depending on your children's ages, they may get very tired. Magic Kingdom has the most rides so depending on how long lines are, you may need to go back to go on the ones you missed out on.

Oh, and I think you'll definitely need a full day for MGM. They have a bunch of shows and rides here that you don't want to miss out on!

Sounds pretty good. I suggest you spend Wednesday AM at MGM, and the next day at Epcot. You need a lot of time for MK and Epcot, but just a half day at MGM, IMO.

Thanks for the input. DH doesn't want to bother with the Worlds at Epcot. He thinks our girls would be bored and he remembers how much walking there was So, 1/2 day at Epcot might be enough for the limited rides we are interested in. If our girls turn out braver than we think they are, we can go back for the thrill rides later in the week.

I would suggest going to your resort for check in and head directly to EPCOT, enjoy lunch there and then come back to the resort for the afternoon and explore it and take a dip in the pool then instead of going to EPCOT later, hop back over to epcot in the evening for illuminations. Your girls may not be willing to try Mission Space but if they are tall enough they don't have to be very much thrill seekers to enjoy the other big rides there. Getting there earlier in the day will make your waits for these rides much easier, also if you can't get onto one of them you can grab a fastpass and then when you come back in the evening ride it.

World showcase does have the kidcot activities for younger children at each country- I don'y know if your children enjoy art but if they do they will probably enjoy this.

I would plan the Crystal Palace for Wednesday that way if you don't have park hoppers but want to go to a park more than once you aren't locked into the MK another day.
