all i can see is this .
what is it??
She took out the info because it was against DIS guidelines [to have info about selling]. She had some photos of her wedding invites that someone had made for her.
OP I'm sure you can put the photos back up just take out the info about how to buy them. They were great looking!

I'm sorry to anyone who got disgruntled over the arguable solicitation. But I just wanted to make a comment about the situation (unless this post gets removed too). When I first discovered the disboard I thought it was great. There were so many pieces of information that I found helped me plan my wedding. From money saving tips, good recommendations, ideas, etc. People raved about Randy, so I booked Randy. People spoke about how great charming events was, so I booked Emily too. People posted links to websites to buy Disney wedding supplies. And yes, I have even seen multiple postings about who/where to buy invitations from. A Disney wedding can get expensive and I think one of the biggest reasons people come to this board is to get money saving advice. Without this board people wouldn't get the recommendations to use people other than Disney that have great services for usually less money. If you go to Disney and ask about invitations they recommend Impressions. I have heard a lot of people don't have great reviews. When people want custom invites they should have more options than that.
When Marcy and I first spoke she was bummed that she found invitations she loved but couldn't afford them. I being a graphic designer, said "hey I can help you out." I love these kind of projects, and I was helping a fellow friend on the disboards. It was a great situation. Marcy got the invitations she loved and wanted to share her experience so other Disney brides could possibly benefit. I guess the unfortunate thing was that she mentioned I was a disboard member. Maybe if she just posted a weblink or something no one would have noticed. But why is it ok to post recommendations about some people and then wrong for her to post a recommendation about me? If anything I think it is a shame that with me being a part of this community that the idea isn't supported even more than some stranger doing the same thing.
I guess it was stupid to think "maybe I should give a discount to Disney brides because I am one myself and it could be fun to keep working on disney stuff even when my wedding is over". I don't need to be here to find work. I am on the disboards because I am planning my wedding. I did not come here to purposely market myself. But if there are people happy with my work they should be able to say so. I just think it is sad that there might be disbrides that could have benefited from this post, that are looking for a great custom invitation at a great price, who aren't allowed to know about it. Because I know when I was looking for certain services/products I sure benefited from other people's experiences. And it's not fair to enforce rules for certain posts and not others.
