He's at that age where it's more important to look cool than to have fun. I hope he grows out of it soon.

My 12 yr DS wants to not go to WDW for a few years....so he agreed to let me take my oldest niece this year, the younger one next year...and my nephew the year after that YEAH we are both happy. That is, if my sister agrees

No, Mickey isn't cool with the teens. Even my 9 year old won't wear him except on boxers. LOL! And he doesn't want to go to WDW any more. Only Universal.

My girls won't wear Mickey things anymore either...every tme we are shopping and I see T-shirts or sweatshirts I'll ask if they want them...all I hear is NO! BUT they are very mad that I'm going to DW without them for DISCON. Sorry, but if you can't wear the Mouse, you can't go to the Mouse House!!!

LOL! Luke refused to wear clothes that were "Mickeyed Up" when he was about 5.

Fortunately, his little brother still likes Disney clothing, particularly Tigger.

My DS was frantically looking for a shirt to wear and said "I can't wear these, they're all Disney" Clothes basket had clean ones from our trip which he was okay wearing while down there. Guess it's pretty typical for the age !
