My information gets changed at WDTC - what's up with this?

I don't know where to post this, but since you people access your reservations a lot in order check for discounts, etc., I thought I'd try asking here.

Every time I call Disney to make adjustments, check for discounts, or access my reservation for any reason, my telephone number and email address are wrong in the Disney computer system. Every CM "corrects" it, but the next time I call it is wrong again. It keeps reverting back to an old home phone number from 3 years ago, and my husband's old work email address. What gives, and what can I do to fix this? I KNOW I gave them my current information when initially booking my package, so this is not the problem. Does this happen to anyone else?:confused3
 
Glad to know I am not the only one this seems to happen to!! Our family has stayed on property 34 times now and when I call, the only thing they can find with our last name is under my deceased mother-in-law who never even went to WDW!! I have NO idea how that happened. I also correct this each time I call but it always ends up the same. Weird!!:confused3
 
We travel to DisneyWorld 3 or 4 times a year and each time that I call for reservations I update my daughter's age - and the next time I call they will ask again if she is 17 ----- she will be 22 in September :rotfl:
 
You are not the only ones with problems! I have repeatedly had CMs change my e-mail address to the current one (at least 4 times) and my confirmations STILL come to my old e-mail. Thank goodness I haven't closed that account. One CM told me that Disney has multiple databases with account info and hasn't ever consolidated them; obvious isn't it?
 

Ah ha......Good to know I'm not alone, but it's still beyond me why they can't fix this for us. There is obviously one MAIN database that all other databases pull info from, or my current reservation info would not keep getting changed. Oh well.....it's only a mild irritation and nothing to fret over. (At least until one day when they make me provide a court order to prove who I am. LOL ;) )
 
You are definitely not alone! For 2 years our old address & phone # kept popping back up. :mad: Now, another year later, the address seems to stay correct (uh, oh - maybe I shouldn't have said that since the day is young! :rotfl: ), but our old phone # is back in the system!!!! :sad2:

The CM fixes it, I call back later in the day and guess what? There's that old phone # again! :headache:
 
You are not alone. Somehow my DFI exwife's email address got put on our honeymoon reservations. She forwarded the email she received and said she hopes we enjoy our honeymoon room at WL in Jan. :eek: They have been divorced for more than 10 years. I gave my email address when we made the reservations and each time I call to make a payment they still have her email address and a phone number for us from about 9 years ago. Each time I give them the correct info and they promise me it has been corrected. NOT!! I have given up trying to get it fixed!!!
 
Same here, they have an old telephone # of ours in the system, even though I have given them our current one several times :confused3
They do have our correct mailing and e-mail address though....
 
Disney doesn't want to believe my 4-year-old is over 3 no matter how many times I tell them his age, birth date, etc. :confused3
