My husband has a job interview today!!! UPDATE

I am so excited for him as it is with a company a good friend works for. (For those of you who helped me out Friday night, it is one of the guys who helped in his drunkeness! LOL)
He really likes his job now, but the contract with the school is up in June. It does not look like his company will get renewed. The biggest problem is with the lady who "technically" pays him.
She told him back last July that she was "taking care" of his Cobra payments, so we had not worried about them. Well it turns out she had not paid them and the company he "really" works for is now asking for the money. Long story short, he is only bringing home in a month, less than he would make on a normal paycheck, and he gets paid twice a month. It started in March and will go to his first June check. Yikes!!!!

If he gets this job he will get to work from home basically, traveling to see clients. He also gets a company car and better benefits and more money! The guys he is intervieing with wanted to talk to him first and are only talking to two other people. They are having lunch today at Berghoff's downtown, so I should at least hear how he thinks it went this afternoon. BTW, hope this does not jinxs him, but he has only had one interview in which he did not get offered the job, so lets hope it stays that way!

I want to add, if COBRA payments have NOT been paid, you have no insurance in force, at least through that COBRA benefit. Please do check into see if you are covered, with 3 little ones, in addition to both of you, you can not afford to be without.

Thanks all, he seems to think it went well, but won't know until the end of the month probally.

Dan ~ We do have current insurance. The company he really works for has paid it. The lady who "pays" my husband, has not paid them back. It is really confusing and truthfully is probally not totally ethical as far as why the company is doing it.
