I'll be honest. I've never completed a trip report. I'm dying to finish one from planning through return to reality.

I have to wonder though... what kind of public humiliation would MAKE me absolutely finish my report to avoid public shame.

I'm thinking of a Dateline (20/20) I saw years ago where they tried to humiliate people into losing weight. They took pictures of people in their underwear and told them if they didn't lose xx pounds by xx/xx/xxxx they would publically release those pictures on national television. So....all but one lost the weight.

Now I'm not going to do that ~ but I can of course think of something else.

Right now I'm going to start with a promise to myself and any followers I get. :)

Here is the countdown!!!

Here are the dets:

4 travelers (ME, DH, DD5, DD3)
The accommodations: Bay Lake Towers
The food: Deluxe Dining
The Dates: May 1- May 7th

I'll do formal introductions later! Right now I have to get me and DD3 ready for a bowling date even though it is only -10 right now! Boy am I dreaming of Disney right about now!!

Introductions ~ Meet Mimi (age 5.5)
Introductions ~ Meet ZZ (age 3.5)
Introductions ~ Meet ZZ Part 2
Introductions ~ Me, Me, Me (age tbd)
Introductions ~ DH (age undisclosed)
Pictures from the Past Flower and Garden
The ADR's ~ It's all about the food right??

It's a report where you come back and basically journal your trip so others can enjoy it through your words! :)

1st Introduction:

Me ~ I am a mostly SAHM to two littles. I do work outside the home two days a week for 6 hours each day.

My oldest is in Kindergarten and my youngest goes to preschool while I work.

My first trip to WDW was at 6 months old in 1974.

I couldn't tell you the number of times I've been ~ but since DD1 was born we go quite often.

I wanna be a go-go-go have every second planned. But then again ~ I don't.

I love waking up in the morning and asking the kiddos what they feel like doing.

I love waking up in the morning just because we are ready to wake up and not because we have somewhere to go.

I've made plans we will probably change a dozen or more times between now and then.

I love to walk around and SEE everything. I will not wait in a line more than 20-30 minutes long (with a couple exceptions).

I'm in. I'm also going to be there May 2-11 so I'll be looking for you. ;)
Please finish the TR although with 2 little ones you are busy. :goodvibes

Yeah! A reader!!

LOL! I'll do my best! I love to post live from the world ~ but sometimes get caught up in smelling the flowers!

I also just today remembered we'll be there for Flower and Garden! Last year we missed it by one day... :( While some stuff was still up ~ a lot of other stuff was gone!

So we are thinking of doing deluxe dining again. BUT with the price increase we may just do the TIW instead.

I'm thinking we could eat in our room just as easily for breakfast and not have to rush anyone. Though I am guessing at least one day at CM will be in order!!

Here are some of the highlights for dining:

Coral Reef
Tony's
Crown and Rose
Ohana's
Yachtsman Club
Le Cellier
50's Primetime
Sci Fi

We are thinking of maybe not doing Sci-Fi as the last few times it hasn't been great ~ though DH really likes it in general.

/
I love the Flower and Garden Show.
We always just eat breakfast (muffin and juice) in the room. It saves time (and calories) for the parks. ;)
If you've done SciFi a few times tell DH it's time to shake things up. ;)
I don't know how any one can do a live report. I'm too wound up in the moment. I just take notes at the end of the day. Could be why my reports are a bit dull.

Well ~ I always have my iPHone and if I have time during the day I just log in and update. i.e. when I am done eating and waiting for the girls to finish, waiting for DH to get QS food, standing in line, waiting for hubby to take the girls on a potty break... etc.

It really only takes a minute to do. :)

I wish I could convince him to let Sci Fi go... OH he loved Mama Melrose and we have only been there once... I might get him to switch for that!!

Okay ~ we just booked flights for me, my mom and the two girls to go down three days early! We get two extra full days! Not sure where we will stay yet... but we have points in holding that we can book something with at the 60 day mark.

We've decided to do TIW so we will be canceling some breakfasts and just eat in the room. Though we do love Chef Mickey's for seeing the fab 5 and we like Ohana's for the food!!!

Those two will likely stay!

So let me introduce my first Mini Me! Her given name is Melina ~ but I call her either Mena or Mimi and these three are generally interchangeable depending on my mood! LOL!

Here is after her first day at MK:

She had her first trip in April before she turned two in July... so a little over 1.5 ~ she was totally HOOKED by Spectromagic and I imagine that it will be to her as the Electric Parade is to me!

She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Epcot. I think she likes it more than Magic Kingdom and will choose to go there almost every day when I ask her where to go.

She is a total foodie and totally stoked to be able to order off the adult menu this trip (no dining plan!). Her newest thing is asking "What kind of cheese is it because I prefer Gouda" when offered Mac and Cheese. When we ate that the Concourse Steak house the waiter started to pander to her about the kids menu when she held a hand up and asked "What's your soup of the day and tell me about your salads." (age 3).

Last trip she made me sit through the Norway movie a second time because there were too many people cutting through the movie and it "ruined her experience". She insisted on watching the China movie and while we waited we walked into the tomb room to which she stopped held up both hands and said "O. M. G.! Would you look at this!"

She is most definitely NOT your typical 5 year old.

On the flip side she LOVES Chef Mickey's and seeing all the characters.

I imagine that some day she will marry at WDW!

I just love all of your mini me pics! I too have a mini me and we are complete suckers for everything Disney :thumbsup2 She is an only child and if she wants a Disney wedding when she's ready to marry, well a Disney wedding she shall receive :lovestruc Just wish I had done it myself!!!

Can't wait to see more from you!!!

Thank you!

As you'll see ~ I have TWO princesses who have the Disney bug!

We've gone to many times that they think it is like driving down the road. When they are bored they say "Can we go to Disney today?" :rotfl: This seems like a perfectly reasonable request to them!

Maybe I can convince them to do a double Disney Wedding some day!! :rotfl:

This year is our 4th in a row  I haven't figured out how to convince my DH to go 2 times a year....yet :rotfl:

But you may be on to something with that double Disney wedding ;)

OMG your dd is SOOO cute! I love the big girl tude on a little girl... I have one of those.

what is TIW?

cant wait to follow. we go a week after you get back, SO anxious!!

My Hubby is just as bad as us!! The girls and I went eight times in 12 months! LOL!

We got a LOT of use out of our AP's! DH was only able to come on three trips.

Welcome to my PTR!

TIW = Tables in Wonderland. You have to be an annual pass holder OR a Florida resident.

It gives you 20% off everything at table service. It cost $75 and is good for one year and up to 10 people.

There will be five of us on this trip and we talked about being able to just order appetizers and desserts and actually be hungry enough to eat the dessert!

Also with our little foodie... she is quite insulted by the kids menu! She also isn't worth 78$/day to upgrade her dining plan to an adult. Especially where she may order a bowl of soup or a salad if it is interesting enough to her. She loves chowders! So it isn't really a matter of the amount of food to her but the type of food. ;)

Plus she can sometimes share with my mom... which they frown on when there is deluxe dining in play.

Okay ~ next up is DD number 2. The baby. Her given name is Zoe but we call her Z, ZZ or "The Deal Sealer" <--mean I know but she was a hard baby! Though you won't be able to tell! She is currently 3.5 and she thinks the world revolves around her (and I mean WHY wouldn't she?)

So first up her pictorial introduction!

Okay... I'll have to finish her pictorial tomorrow! :) Enjoy!

Hubby to me last night: "I'm not going to make it to May! Start thinking of a long weekend trip!"

LOL! I told him he was worse than the girls ~ to which he replied "Only because I have money and they don't. I'm just waiting for the day that Mimi sits me down and says, listen daddy ~ I ran the numbers, this is totally doable!"

I got a good laugh out of that!
