PLEASE HELP! tHIS IS OUR FIRST TRIP TO DISNEY (5 DAYS) WITH OUR KIDS (4&6). wE BOOKED THEM INTO THE CUBS DEN ON FRIDAY NIGHT FOR 3 HOURS. wE HAVE SUCH LIMITED TIME TOGETHER, ANY IDEAS ON WHAT WE CAN DO. i'M OVERWHELMED BY THE CHOICES. OUR TIME TOGETHER COMES ON OUR 3RD NIGHT...

My vote is for dinner (or appetizers and drinks if time is tight) at California Grill. Hopefully you could work out the time that you could see the fireworks over the castle. It is magical! Good luck!;)

WELCOME TO THE DIS!

Watch the all caps, some consider it yelling in computer language. :p

Here's a few suggestions for your 3 hours alone:

A walk through Downtown Disney, it's so wonderful at night with everything lit up.

Go to EPCOT and visit the World Showcases and stick around for the 9pm showing of Illuminations if your time permits. If not, then enjoy the walk around the World...it's BEAUTIFUL at night.

Just hop on the monorail and visit the different resorts. I can't tell you how I feel everytime we arrive at the Polynesian while I'm on the monorail taking it back to the Grand Floridian where I've parked my car. It's very neat checking out the monorail resorts and imagining what it would be like to stay there one day.

Have a nice dinner at the AKL at Boma or at the California Grille in the Contemporary, or at the San Angel Inn in the Mexico Showcase. There are other nice "adult" restaurants, but those are the ones that stick out in my mind. Boma is a buffet, and a bit noisy at time, but it's something the two of you can really enjoy as a couple. My hubby and I did it twice on our last visit.

I hoped I've helped. Best to you and enjoy!

Le Cellier at Epcot is a nice place for a relaxing meal. Too slow and peaceful for those with lots of energy. My DW and I are facing the same "dilema". MIL is going with us on upcoming trip so DW and I have been granted an evening in the World. I will be looking at this post myself for some ideas.
Good luck and Have fun!

If the children will be staying at the Cubs Den, how about a dinner nearby at Artist Point? Probably that pager won't go off, but if it does it's easier to be close at hand. Even though my two are older now, we've stuck pretty close to their location (Jiko when they were at Simba's Clubhouse and E-night when they were at the Neverland Club). This year I'm planning to check them in at The Mouseketeer Club or Neverland Club while DH and I go to California Grill or Cubs Den while we go to Artist Point.

My vote for in the parks would be a slow stroll around ws with dinner and drinks in japan. If you time it well you also will have a great view of illuninations. If you want to stay outside the parks a late dinner at artist point followed by a walk down to the beach to watch the electrical water pagent.

for California Grill.

Greta relaxation
Great drinks
Great food
Great service
Great view
Great fireworks

Great combo

WE have the same GREAT problem...I think we are going to walk around the world showcase, with no little ones tugging. I cannot wait. I have NEVER had my DH to myself in the World. Can't wait!

I was wondering when someone would think of that, Me and the guys!
