Arrived home last night from a mother daughter trip to WDW. 2 moms and 2 thirteen year old best friends. Trip was terrific. Unfortunately, I received a call Tuesday afternoon that my house had been broken into. We were just checking in at ths Sci-Fi for lunch (my daughters pick of the day). I took my phone outside to try to deal with this long distance with the police, ex-husband, and older daughter. The people around me of course could hear what I was dealing with and they were so kind. I let them know that my daughter wasn't home when this occured and the dog was fine. The dog was put in the bathroom (go figure a kind thief). My 13 year old was quite upset. She was very concerned for her prized disney dvds. LOL! I assured her that they wouldn't be looking to take them and she did laugh. Her best friend was wonderful and we were determined that this was NOT going to ruin our trip! And it didn't.
After lunch at the Sci-Fi we went to see Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. I went up first to have my picture taken and I told them that she needed some cheering up. When she went for a picture, Sully gave her such a big hug that you could only see her legs.
So now I have to go back to cleaning up the finger printing dust (ink). Not as much fun as pixie dust. And it isn't as easy as you may think. Wish me luck as it is everywhere.
