It's Jan/Feb. What gives?

Is it hot because of the outdoor temperature or because you have the heating on?

Our outdoor temp was 82 today. I am hoping the AC doesn’t come on. I think our winter is done.

It's weird, it's freezing outside and the temperature in the house is (was) turned down for the night… bizarre.

Do you have attached neighbors? We are in a townhome and if it is not AC weather even if we turn all the heat off the top floor never gets below 80 no matter the temp outside so I am sleeping with windows open at 20 degrees so we don't suffocate in a 100 degree room. I suspect it is due to flawed venting where all the heat from the other units collects under the roof. Bottom floor is always freezing. The heating units are on the top floor which ignores the benefit of physics completely where if you put heat producing units on the bottom floor it naturally rises and heats the space as it moves up, like it does :/

Nah, detached house. It's better now. But it was weird.

Two houses ago, we had some switch on our oil furnace stuck on. The heat just kept going up. We had to call in the heating people to fix it. Our collie was so hot poor thing! She ended up staying on the porch most of the time until it was fixed (same day).
