My heart is nearly broken...

DH just walked out of our house with 2 pounds of soft red curls and sad black eyes. This was our new puppy (had less than 2 weeks) and we just found out at the vet that she's dying. DH is returning her to the lady we bought her from. I lost my previous dog of 16 years only 5 months ago. Not a happy girl this a.m.
