My guide is so nice!

During a recent phone conversation with our guide, Jim McCoy, I mentioned our family was going through a little bit of a rough patch-everything is fine now.

In the mail today was a nice Hallmark card from him telling us to hang in there.

I know this kind of things keeps his clients happy, etc. but I just thought it was nice of him to take the time .

Jim is also my guide. When I purchased last November 2002, he was most helpful.

He can answer any question you have and enjoys doing it!

WOW!!!....My original guide...never heard from again....the guide I got last year at least has called once...but never got a get well card.....that is so nice...

Jim McCoy is my son's guide and he's now assisting us as we're more than likely buying points at SSR. My son has nothing but good words for him and it's great to know that he has that "personal touch".

He's our guide too. He's always gotten back to us quickly. When I hear his voice on the answering machine it really is great he has such a "DISNEY" personality. Those of you who have heard him speak will understand what I mean.

For us last year, we did an add on while staying at the Boardwalk, and had a visit with Jim and mentioned that DH went to one of the Member Update meeting at BWV and won one of the DVC Member baseball caps. Well I stayed back at the villa with DS and was so jealous!! 2 weeks later I got a cap in the mail. Just thought it was the coolest thing

We have Jim McCoy as our guide also.Started talking with him over 1 year ago and when my DH said no back then he still kept in touch with funny cards and phone calls(No pressure @ all,just HI, how ya doin types)When we went down again this year he saw that we were there and called us @FW cabins and we set up an appt.He was just as nice and wonderful in person!My DH the skeptic said he would never use anyone else again!!

I agree with you 100%, floridafam - of course, you recommended Jim to us!

Even though by the time we actually got to WDW all our paperwork had already gone through, he still sent a van for us, met us early (8AM) and showed us the SSR models - and gave my DW some cotton candy (a sure way to win her over....) A Guide who is still there after the sale is complete is my idea of a Great Guide!

I agree too with those who commented on his personality; if ever there were a guy who personifies the Disney attitude, it's Jim McCoy!

Thats exactly how I feel about Judy Kaufman. Whenever I have asked her for anything, she has sent it in the mail that very day. She never forgets anything, no matter how busy she is. I know alot of people think that the guides are "just salespeople", but I think differently...she is one of the sweetest people I have ever talked to over the phone.

My guide is also Judy Kaufman and I just can't say enough about her. I totally enjoy her friendship and all she means to my family.

We have Jim as our guide as well and he has always been like that which I think is so wonderful. He'll call every once in awhile just to see how we are. I'm glad he was so caring to you!
