it looks like you had a LOT of performers and i"m just wondering if that was very costly?
Pintradingwedding, I am not on the Dis much and apologize for not having seen your post sooner.
(*hanging my head in shame*)
Yes, having so many Streetmosphere characters was expensive. They ran me thousands of dollars (and Sorcerer Mickey was an additional cost on top of that). But they truly made the event. There was a flow and continuity throughout the entire evening that just wouldn’t have been possible had they not been there.
I posted the following in another thread almost two months ago. I’ll share it here so folks can understand how the Streetmosphere characters fit into my event at the Great Movie Ride.

As for my custom vow renewal, I had the following cast of characters:
Hollywood Movie Producer (click here)
Gun Moll (click here)
Gangster (click here)
Cowboy (click here)
Cowgirl (click here)
Glinda, the Good Witch (click here)
Sorcerer Mickey (click here)
I had so many characters because my event was a progressive dinner party that was held inside the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park. The Hollywood Movie Producer Streetmosphere Character provided a sense of continuity throughout the entire event since he greeted my guests backstage at our private motor coach (click here). He then personally drove my husband and I (click here) to the Handprint Ceremony (click here) that was held in the courtyard of the Great Movie Ride. After the ceremony had ended, he led everyone inside the Great Movie Ride attraction. Our first stop was a cocktail party that was held inside the Gangster Venue. We were greeted there by a Gangster and his Gun Moll who entertained while a Honky-Tonk Pianist (click here) played background music. Once the cocktail party had ended, the Hollywood Movie Producer reappeared and led everyone into the Western Venue. We were greeted there by a Cowboy and Cowgirl who entertained while a Country & Western Band (click here) played. Once the dinner party had ended, the Hollywood Movie Producer reappeared and led everyone into the Land of Oz Venue. We were greeted there by Glinda the Good Witch. She entertained while everyone enjoyed their dessert (click here). Once the dessert party had ended, the Hollywood Movie Producer reappeared and led everyone outdoors to the Sorcerer's Hat Icon (click here). There we were greeted by Mickey Mouse who was dressed as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Mickey Mouse posed for photographs (click here) and then began the dance party. He even taught me how to do the Electric Slide (click here) since I had never done it before. Once our dance party was in full-swing, Mickey Mouse left us in the hands of our DJ who spun tunes while my guests danced (click here) beneath the stars. It was an incredible party (click here), thanks to all the wonderful Streetmosphere Characters.
Since my party was slightly unique, it required a cast of characters. Most parties aren’t like that. You need to determine what's right for your event. That might mean having no characters, having one character, or having multiple characters.

I hope this helped. Again, I apologize for not responding to your post sooner.
