My beloved "Noni" died 12 years ago, and I still cry and miss her. As I'm sure is the case with your Granny Hazel, they don't make 'em like that any more.

Tina, I don't know you personally, but from what I've seen here, you OBVIOUSLY take after your grandmother. You're a kind-hearted, warm-spirited young woman, and I'm sure she's proud to have called you her granddaughter.

You and your family will be in my prayers, and extra hugs to you. I know it cannot be easy to have to face this without your DH right now.
Just hang in there, and let it all out when you need to. There's no shame in that.

I can't even begin to say thank you for all the well wishes and PMs I received. The support is just overwhelming. Thank you all.

I did arrive this evening after a long albeit hurried drive. I told Matt early early this morning. He did pretty well mostly upset because he can't be here to help and upset because Im upset. We'll make it though. Something that's making me smile tonight is the thought of Granny telling my other grandparents about Matt and the crazy couple we are.


Apparently she came awake enough to tell the family with her that she loves us and we are to be good to each other. In her honor we are having a HUGE southern banquet after her funeral. If ya'll like some good home made southern cooking come on down, my Granny would share with anyone. She didn't know a stranger, she just dind't remember your name lol.
