What a beautiful little boy!! I teach two year olds (they need to be two by Oct. 1) so I get quite a few little ones his age in September. I LOVE this age!!! I get to hug them, love them, and then give them back to their parents in 2 1/2 hours! Kind of like being a grandparent, but different!

I got the hat at a children's shop in Kennebunkport, Maine. It's made by a company called Flap Happy. They have a website (www.flaphappy.com) but if you want to get a better look at the hats, go to www.comfykid.com/Flaphappy-main.htm. They show photos of the hats whereas the flap happy site shows drawings.
Flap Happy makes a lot of adorable hats and clothes for babies and toddlers! I love the bright, colorful prints! (Disclaimer: I am in no way connected to the company. I just like their product!)

I know, though, that I love to see pictures that other people post of babies, kids, pets, vacations, pretty much anything! Some people probably think "Oh no, there she goes posting pics again of her grandson, her daughter, or pictures from Maine and Arizona!" I just like to share. And, I always figure if someone doesn't want to see them, they'll just bypass the thread.

Plus, he is our first grandchild. Of course, I have to show him off!

hercamore: This is another hat that is excellent for protection from the sun. It has a wide brim (especially in the back) and SPF+50. I got it at LLBean and they have it in smaller and larger sizes.

Ha! Ha! Could it be my sophomoric sense of humor? My oldest child is 29 and my youngest is 19. My grandson is the son of my middle child (DD26). I will be 55 TOMORROW!

I need to do some research to see what senior discounts I can get starting tomorrow. My husband is two years younger than me, so I'm the first to hit the big 55.

Reminds me when my computer crashed 2 yrs ago and the repairman asked 'if I wanted all the pictures restored?' I said, 'of course, how many are we talking about?'
He said, 'over 5,000 !!!' Needless to say, most are of our sweet grands and they are priceless far as I'm concerned! I can't imagine how many more pix I have by now, but they are in a safe haven for sure! I know as a grandmother you share and enjoy that same feeling and love!!
