My girls are driving me nuts!!!!!

I have 6 sisters (28,26,21,21,19,17) The 28 and 26 year olds never EVER fought growing up, they are best friends and actually share an apartment together in San Francisco. The twins hated each other growing up and fought constantly, but now they are best friends sharing an house in college with friends. The girls always fought though, if it wasn't one thing it was another. In fact I think the only time they were all at peace with each other was when they were mad against me (World War 3 and I'm France)

Remember it could always be worse... like my parents having 7 kids...

I don't know if this will help, but I remember a roommate I had in college who told me that when she and her siblings would fight, they would have to sit facing each other, knees touching, and stare at each other. She said it didn't take long before they were laughing, and eventually, they stopped fighting because they hated the punishment. Good luck with your girls. My sister and I used to be at each other's throats growing up, but now we're the best of friends.

I have a friend whose parents did something similar to this, they would make them hug though. I thought that was particularly evil. :lmao:

I am dealing with my younger two boys fighting lately. They've been forced to share a room for a while, my brother in law has been living with us and sleeps in the younger son's room. They got into a fist fight before school the other day, I told them no facebook, no xbox and now you have to do community service. I made them go to the neighbor's and chip the compounded snow off their driveway (ours is clear & dry). I told them they have to learn to work together, if they didn't, there were more driveways that could be done. I did warn them if they used the tools for anything else than what they were meant for, there would be some heck to pay. It seems to be working.

My sister and I were like this growing up, teen years were particularly bad. For the most part we remained friends after getting older. Now we don't speak at all, I am upset with the some of the choices she has made and how it effects her child.

well it's coming at a good time, we were discussing a third but no way! They seemed ok on the way to school this morning - keeping my fingers crossed for tonight. My office is nice and quiet today though.
