My future Trip ?

July 1-10 2006 9 nights 10 days at CBR Resort (moderate) standard view room requesting nonsmoking Jamica or Aruba for $1315.00 booked as a room only thru disney by using AAA discount which is $131.00 per night. The airfare was $915.00 for all three of us to fly us airways from West Virginia to Orlando roundtrip. We plan to use the Magical Express bus and other disney bus transportation and also a few cabs. We have park hopper plus tickets for the next three years already and have chosen to eat out on our own at disney with a few reservations already made. Is two thousand $ enough for food for the three of us?(2 adults 1 child age 9) Anything I"m missing? Comments? Thanks in advance.

$2000 sounds like too much. We took five in '04 & spent $800 over a week. We had one ADR/day, ate one counter service/day, one snack/day, & breakfast/snack in the room (grocery stop proir).

Forgive my ignorance, but you've already bought three years (trips) worth of tix? Is that what you meant?

Have you thought of souvenirs, tips (mousekeeping, curb-side check-in, cab drivers, etc.), incidentals/emergency?

ETA, have you looked at the menus of Disney restaurants? That might help you decide how much $$$ you need.
