Ugh...I am absolutely distraught. My wonderful cat Gandalf has been missing for 48 hours
We have another cat who sneaks outside if someone leaves the door open too long and apparently the other night while my DD's and DH were bringing in groceries, both cats got out. We found Petey (my other cat) right away (figures, he's the one who starts the trouble and the only one to come home), but we've been unable to find Gandalf. My DH thought he saw him outside this morning, so that gave me hope, but a little while ago I was out searching and saw a cat that looked just like Gandalf but upon closer inspection, I saw this cat had white paws and Gandalf has black paws..and my cat has a collar and this one did not.
I'm really upset now; we've had this cat for 6 years and he is truly the best furbaby I've ever had. We rescued him from a shelter years ago and he was so withdrawn and never would be affectionate and now he is just the sweetest little thing..cuddles and nuzzles with everyone. I'm really worried because he has been outside 2 nights in a row now and it's getting pretty darn cold out and we live in an area in Reno where there are lots of coyotes
Please, please send us some pixie dust so that we can find Gandalf soon..I have no idea what I'll do if he's really gone. Thank you
