My friend really hurt my feelings.

From this post lets look at what you both get out of the relationship.

Him: meals cooked and served, nice shower, free advice, fix ups.

You: Insults and hurt feelings.

Not very balanced is it? Take him off speed dial and tell him to shower and eat at a hot girls house.[/QUOTE]

Very intelligent post!!:thumbsup2 Thats relationship is not equal at all. Would you put up with that from a boyfriend or husband? Probably not. Relationships have to provide us with what we need emotionally for us to feel good about them. The only thing he is providing you with is someone to cook for and some rudeness.

You wouldnt be in a romantic relationshp where all you did was give give give and all he did was take take take and criticize and put you down. Why be in a "friendship" (and I use that term loosely) like that?

Woah. Unless that was a fluke comment from him and usually he's completely different, I can't imagine why he's your friend. What a jerk.

:thumbsup2
You really should have told him thanks for thinking about that because you would have been really embarrassed being seen with him too - wouldn't want anybody to think you dated anybody as immature and young as he is. :rolleyes1

OP, I just read the rest of your posts (on this thread) and it seems like your self esteem could use a boost and it's not going anywhere but down being around immature jerks like him. I hope you stick to your guns and don't give in when he comes around next wanting a hot meal or shower. He's just using you and I'm sure he's thinking that you'll forgive him and still give him everything he wants. I really hope for your sake that you don't give it to him.
