Since a few of my stories are missing, I have to write this story by memory & pictures. Thank goodness for pictures or I wouldn't be able to do the missing dates. Please bear with me & I will try to do my best.
We had breakfast at the Pop Century resort again. We decided to go to Downtown Disney & see a few movies for the day since we had reservations at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. I think for breakfast I had a bowl of cereal.
After Breakfast we took the bus to Downtown Disney Pleasure Island because we were going to the movies at the AMC Pleasure Island 24. Since we were a little early we sat by the fountain. We joked around with the security guard about jumping in the fountain.
We decided to see Smart People. The movie has Ellen Page & Dennis Quaid. I don't remember what the movie was about but it was an OK movie. After the movie, we decided to see another movie. We saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall. This movie has Bill Hader & Eva Longoria. The movie was about a guy who just got dumped by his girlfriend & he goes on a vacation to try to get his mind off of her. I thought it was a good movie.
After the movie we had to catch a bus to Fort Wilderness Campground because we had reservations for Mickey's Backyard BBQ. After the bus dropped us off we had to take a campground bus to the last stop.
Mickey's Backyard BBQ is a BBQ they have where there is live country music & country line dancing with the characters. Before they let you into the dining area, they let you into the waiting area where kids can play games & adults can drink. I got a picture with Country Goofy. As soon as the gates opened to the dining area, everyone started rushing in like it was their last meal on Earth. It was chaotic. We noticed that we had to go to the buffet ourselves but we got the impression before we booked this that they would come to the table and put the food in front of you. We talked to the Manager about it & he told us that we read it wrong but because Louis was physically challenged they brought what we wanted to the table. The BBQ was really noisy too. After we ate we took the bus to Magic Kingdom to catch our bus back to Pop Century. We decided that Mickey's Backyard BBQ wasn't something we would do again because the Burgers were cold & the hot dogs were boiled & cold.
After the BBQ which wasn't really made on the BBQ we took the bus to Magic Kingdom to catch another bus back to our resort. Then we filled up our mugs with drinks & went back to our room for the night.
