Mine is I miss when ups would just drop off Amazon packages and I would get a email saying it Arrived that was one perk of Covid being at the height

I always get an email when Amazon delivers my orders.

I'd love it if they'd do "just" a knock. In the past 6 months, only once has the doorbell rang when a package was dropped at the front door. Mostly, we just have to keep an eye out (repeatedly opening door to check) on "delivery" day.

Same here,,check your Amazon messages settings to make sure you are set to receive emails?

Email with a photo. Plus Alexa tells me. Plus a phone notification.

I get email, usually with a photograph. I also get notified on our Alexa system. And more & more I get notified by everyone who ships to us that their package has been delivered.

Um that didn't stop lol.
I got an amazon package today and I got a notification it was out for delivery with a 3 hour estimated window. Then I got a notification when it was 10 stops away, then I got a notification that it was delivered as well as an email. (I had heard the truck so got it before I even got the delivered notification and email)

Depending on the driver sometimes I get a random loud knock but I don't go out until they have pulled away.
They ask for social distancing anyways and have to take a photo of it so they can't just hand it to you.
Maybe you had a new driver that wanted to make sure you knew your package was there lol.

UPS always just leaves the package on my door step. They never or rarely hand me the package. Just a knock or a knock with UPS and leave the package

I have a free UPS MyChoice account. I've filled out a blanket authorization online for them to leave my packages, along with specific instructions where to leave them. Same with Amazon and FedEx. Porch pirates are bad here, so everything goes behind the gate. They always do a great job, except that FedEx refuses to bring the packages down the alley to my back door. UPS and Amazon both do.

I don’t get an email but we also get a knock on the door. Just recently they’ve started adding a window for delivery time. I have to buzz them in so 99% of the time I know when it’s been delivered.
