My first trip to WDW and DH's first time being arrested (Dec 2009)

Okay Lee,

I went to Disney, had 4 days of fun, and come back... Not a single update missed. Hop to it!

Loving the TR and you and Rig sound completely adorable.

I loved my new ears, and I think I wore them just as good as Rig wore his cowboy hat.

“Where to now Babylee?”

We had to look on the map for what to do next. I still think Hollywood Studios is the most confusing park.

Toy Story Mania was one we hadn’t done, so we headed in that direction. Rig wanted to go draw another picture, there wasn’t anything in me that wanted to do that again, I told him to go ahead without me and we could meet up somewhere, but he didn’t want to separate. I told him he might be able to convince me to go draw again later, I just wasn’t up for the humiliation as of yet. It’s no fun doing something if you suck miserably at it. Well some things are fun to do even if you stink at it, like miniature golf or bowling, but I found no enjoyment in trying to draw, I don’t try and draw at home and I really wasn’t up for drawing on vacation.

On the way to toy story mania we passed one mans dream, we hadn’t gone in there yet so we decided to check that out.

Walking through and looking at pictures and little models was ok, I thought that was all there was to it though, but then we discovered there was a show too.

We went in and got comfy. It was set up just like a movie theater but without the sticky floor. Rig took his hat off and settled down into his chair.

“Don’t sleep.” I told him

“I don’t plan on it, you know what you can do to keep me awake though.” He smiled his crooked grin at me.

“There’s a lot I can do to keep you awake, but I doubt it’s what you have in mind.”

“Don’t be picken on your man now.”

The theater wasn’t quite full when the movie finally started. A few minutes into it Rig had sat up and leaned forward in his chair, he was interested I could tell. And rightly so, it was a good show. Walt was just the average guy with a dream, he made his dream come true and now so many of us go and live out our dreams of seeing the castle or meeting the princesses. I appreciated Disney World so much more after this show, knowing that this man came from meager beginnings and managed to create all of that from one dream, a dream that just kept growing and now others are adding to it to keep his dream alive, it’s amazing. I not only walked away from that show with a whole new respect for Disney, but I also walked away thinking that it’s not impossible to realize all of my dreams, no matter how big they may be, or how ridiculous they may sound. If you haven’t seen one mans dream I urge you to do so, make it a priority on your next trip.

Rig really liked the show too, “I am well versed in the world of Disney and the man behind it.” He proclaimed

“Versed?” I questioned

“Yea, it means knowledged.”

“I know what versed means, I laughed, just why are you using it?”

“I’m expanding my vocabulary, it makes me sound educated.” (pronounced ‘ed gee cay teed’)

We then headed towards Toy Story Mania, The line was long, the wait was longer and the fast passes were all gone. That’s when we remembered that Toy Story was supposed to be the first thing on our list for Hollywood Studios. Woops! Oh well, now we have to come back Disney World, we missed something.

That’s how our discussion of coming back came to be. We knew we wanted to come back one more time before having kids, and we wanted to have our best friends come with us. We knew it would be a long time, Rig needs a new truck like yesterday, duct tape holds up good (ya know you can hold a bumper on with duct tape? Even with the way Rig drives, that bumper stays stuck on there), but he is really pushing it now. Oh and my friend Ally from town has never been to Disney, she wants to go so bad “Hi Ally” (she’s been following this story) maybe she can come back with us too. Maybe Jenny and Grant would want to come.
Anyway, we discussed several different scenarios for returning to Disney. And we discussed who would like what as far as food and rides go.

And since we missed out on Toy Story Mania we decided to skip the car stunt show thing too.

“So all that’s left to do now is the animation studio?” Rig smiled his big “please’ smile. So I gave in and we went to draw another picture.

We drew the lightening bug from the princess and the frog. Yay, (please read that with no excitement at all)
Rigs picture looked just like the way it was supposed to, my picture looked like a fat Q-tip with legs, big eyes and a toothless smile.
His picture was rolled up and put into his back pocket, my picture was crumpled up and thrown away.

Since we did the whole drawing thing I figured it was now my turn for some fun and I chose Voyage of the little Mermaid.

“Again Babylee? Aint you seen enough of that fish?”

“No, it’s my favorite and I want to go again.”

“Are we actually watchin the show or is this your way of askin for some cowboy lovin?”

“Rig I don’t need to go into a show to get some cowboy lovin.”

“That’s true.” Rig put his arms around me, “But Cowboy lovin is always better in the dark.”

We waited for the next show to let us in and I probably got Rigs hopes up when I chose a seat in the way back, but I was there for just one thing and that was to watch the show, it would probably be the last time for a long time that I would get to see it. When the lights went down and Rig figured out that I wasn’t up for making out he slunkered down in his chair and took a little cat nap.

This show will never get old, I do wish they had a little more acting and less cartoon montage in the middle, but I get why they had to do it that way. It’s still a great show though.

We left the theater into the bright light and hot sun, I was starting to feel tired and a little hungry, I knew food would wake me up.
Rig swore I turned down his advances to get back at him for dragging me into the art academy. But that’s not how I play, I am not a vengeful person and I reminded him of that, but to settle him down I promised him I would make it up to him. It was all playful, we make pacts and deals all the time knowing full well that pacts and deals are not necessary in our relationship, we do the best we can to please each other, and cowboy love isn’t something that needs to be bartered with, it flows natural and free.

We weren’t sure of where to eat, we were sick of pizza and hot dogs and hamburgers, well I should rephrase that, I was sick of that stuff. So Rig asked around and was told that the commissary had a lot to offer, so that is where we went, I was so happy to see that they had fried fish, Yum Yum with a capitol “Y”.

I found us a table and Rig went up to order our food, now I was expecting some fish sticks, but Omagosh what I got was a school of fish and these fish were as long as my arm, I managed to eat one and most of my fries, but Rig had to finish my fish, it was good fish too mind you.

We spent a long time in here, our dinner conversation was all over the place skipping and hopping from one subject to the next. It was just like dinner time back home, I always try and prolong dinner clean up and dishes for as along as possible and our conversations can go on forever that way.
I excused myself to the ladies room and when I came back Rig handed me a napkin, “I need you to read this over and then sign on the X.”

It read,
“I Babylee being of dingy mind but smokin body to hereby promise my husband of sound mind but equal smokin body the following…
Some major lovin.”

I laughed so hard I could barely talk for a few minutes, “I refuse to sign anything that says I am of “dingy mind.”

“Well now Babylee, these documents have to be truthful, if I were to allow you to sign something saying you were of right mind, that would be lying and make the whole thing null and void.”

“Documents? I laughed even harder, It’s a freakin napkin!”

“All we need is a witness,” Rig said looking around the restaurant. He found a few ladies sitting a few tables away from us, “Excuse me ladies, could I get some help from one of you, I just need somebody to witness my wife signing this document.”

I covered my face with my hands, “Rig you aint right.”

Two of the ladies came over, Rig handed me his pen, “Right here on the dotted line woman!” he said to me.
“I’m not signing it.” I said pushing the pen back to him.

“C’mon now Babylee, sign it.”

“What exactly is it you want her to sign?” one of the ladies asked

I handed her the napkin and let her read it, she bust out laughing and handed it to her friend who also laughed.

“that’s cute, one of them said, I would sign it for posterity.”

“Whose posterity? His or mine? I don’t want my future descendants reading that I am of dingy mind?”

“Most likely your descendants will be dingy minded too.” Rig said handing me the pen, there’s no arguing with him sometimes, so I signed.

Rig handed the pen to the lady who urged me to sign, and she herself signed it.

“Now this is good, Leela, this is a true document and will hold up in any court of law.”

The lady asked us if we were honeymooners, we told her kind of, we had been married for a year already but never had a real honeymoon. She thought we were sweet and wished us the best for future years and wanted a picture of herself with us and the document. So we posed with her while her friend took the picture.

We left the restaurant. Rig extremely proud of himself.

“Since when have you ever needed it written down that I would love on you.” I asked, “My actions have always proved that we don’t need a written agreement.”

“I don’t know, you turned me down in the dark show.”

“I was watching the little mermaid.”

Rig shrugged.

“Fine, I said, let’s go find us a dark place right now.”

We went back for another showing of the little mermaid and nabbed us a seat in the very very back of the theater. I didn’t even waste time letting the lights go down and if somebody was watching I gave them a good show. A few times Rig whispered “Lord have mercy.”
So having satisfied my cowboy during the dark show, we left the theater. A perma grin on Rigs face.

“See Babylee, I shouldn’t have to go through all of that just to get you to kiss me.”

“Boy you are being so dramatic today.”

Rig smiled, “just havin some fun.”

“You can rip up your document now.” I said

“Nope, that gets framed and hung above the bed.” Rig laughed

We went in and out of some shops, we had seen it all and no new products were brought out so we didn’t buy anything.

We weren’t sure if we wanted to go on anymore rides, we couldn’t agree on anything, or we didn’t feel like walking to it, or standing in line for anything, we were just feeling lazy. So we grabbed up a bench and people watched for a bit, then when we got bored with that we decided it was just time to go back to the resort. I had laundry that needed to be done. Tomorrow we would be meeting up with Jenny and Grant to tour Animal Kingdom, I expected it to be an all day thing and didn’t think I would have time to do the laundry any other day. I told Rig I had laundry to do and he said he could use a nap so that made our decision to leave Hollywood studios unanimous.

Leaving a park a little after dinner time makes taking the bus back so much easier, especially on a nice day, we had an almost empty bus.

We got back to the resort and cut through the lobby. That’s when we saw the ping pong table.

“Leela, let’s play us a game of ping pong.”

I giggled cause Rig says it pang powng, it just sounds funny.

“If I win this game Rig then you have to do laundry with me instead of sleeping.”

“Alright, fair enough.”

“Do I need to get you to sign a document or will you keep your word?” I asked sarcastically

“No need for a document cause I’m gonna whoop ya.” he sounded so confidant in that statement, he’s too competitive all the time. I had to show him up.

I can’t draw, I can’t sing too well, I can’t do thrill rides without psyching myself out, but I can play ping pong.

I WON!

Rig tried saying best two out of three but the agreement was I win this game and he does laundry with me. So we went back to the room and I gathered all of our clothes up and put them in our laundry bag, I carried our refillable mugs and let Rig carry the bag.
When we got to the laundry room Rig left to fill our mugs while I got started on the laundry, there was another lady in there doing laundry too, she was already drying her stuff.
Normally I would have felt a twinge of jealousy because she was halfway through with her chore, but this time I didn’t feel so bad since Rig would be there to keep me company.

Rig came in a few minutes later with our mugs. He nodded at the lady and then sat on the counter top. The lady apologized for the racket her dryer was making, she and her family had gone on Kali River rapids a couple of times and their shoes got soaked, she was drying them so they could go back out again that night.

Rig was boppin his head to the rhythm of the dryer, “That’s a nice little beat there.” he said and started drumming his hands along with it adding to the already going beat of the dryer that sounded like Ba da kunk, ba da kunk. Then he started singing along, low at first, he was kind of lost in his own little musical world. Both the lady and I stopped what we were doing and just watched Rig, he was oblivious to us staring at him. The lady was looking at him, amusement showing all over her face.
He was singing a Billy Currington song “little bit lonely” he kept the singing low until he got to the second chorus, then he got a little louder “Baby come over tonight I’m a little bit lonely, Baby come hold me tonight I‘m a little bit lonely.”

Then he belted out “Baby Baby Baby, just for tonight be my one and only.”

He saw me watching him, possibly a horrified expression plastered on my face,

“C’mon Babylee, let’s see ya dance, push that tush.”

“If you’re trying to get out of doing laundry by embarrassing me, you’re gonna have to try harder than that.”
“Oh I’m having fun, Rig said, I aint tryin to get out of nothing, I’m gonna take my act out on the road, just me and a dryer with shoes in it.”

I looked over at the lady, I shook my head at her, “Do you feel sorry for me at all?” I asked her

“Actually I’m a little jealous.” She said “I bet your life is filled with excitement.”

“Thanks, Rig said, I’ll be here the rest of the week, come for the dinner show.”

I turned back to sorting our clothes and putting them in the wash.

Excitement I thought, if she only knew the half of it. I smiled to myself.

“Any requests?” Rig asked

I ignored him but Rig and the lady had a nice long conversation about country music and favorite songs and bands.

When her shoes were done drying she left, and it was time to throw our stuff in the dryer, our dryer was a lot quieter then hers had been, we had the place to ourselves for a little while.

“throw your shoes in there Babylee, I wanna sing some more.”

“I’m not throwing dirty shoes in with clean laundry.”

“then just throw your shoes in another dryer.”

“No Rig, I’m not wasting any money on that.”

“Alright, acoustic only now, How about a nice slow song to dance to, you can shine up my belt buckle.” He wrapped his arms around me and we started swaying but we were interrupted by another lady coming in to do her laundry.

“Got any shoes going into the wash?” he asked

“Ignore him.” I said

When the laundry was dry Rig helped me fold it, I had to pretty much refold everything he had folded, but it was a nice effort on his part.

We headed back to the room, as we passed the ping pong table Rig said he wanted a rematch. So the plan was to drop off our laundry and come back down for that.

I just love this trip report.

It is really hard watching that scenario happen with the mother/child and not saying anything. I do agree with Rig, there are many other memories that will trump that moment in time for that little boy. Don't be too hard on yourself.Thank you. I tried not to think about it after my talk with Rig, I sure hope that little boy had a good time."

This is completely adorable. Thanks

I haven't purchased any ears at WDW, I did have a Minnie Ears headband I gave to my granddaughter when we took her to WDW last November. I just purchased new ones on the Disney Store site for me and a friend from the DISboards I am meeting for the first time in 49 days in WDW.

I can't wait to read more!
Have fun on your next trip, sounds like you will, I think adding ears to the trip makes it more magical.

Awww....great post! I am so corny! I cried when he got you those ears. I remember when I was about 5 I wanted this doll called Peggy Playpen. My mom didn't get it for me because she said she thought it was too small. My DH has been looking everywhere for that doll to no avail.

Great post BTW!
You're not corny at all, I drop tears for the littlest thing.
Super sweet that your husband is looking for a Peggy playpen for you, I hope he can find one.

oh yes great update!!! yayaya for minnie ears!

Heat and exhaustion does get to people a lot and it can make for some ugly moments in the happiest place in the world. Like Rig said, I'm sure that is not the only thing the little boy remembers about Disney.
How cute that Rig bought you ears!:goodvibes
I've had my share of meltdowns from exhaution, thank goodness they didn't come at Disney, well except at Animal Kingdom that's for a later post, but my happy memories are what stand out the most.
Rig buying the ears was totoally unexpected.

There must be something about Rock N Roller Coaster that brings out the worst in parents.
As we were coming close to them I raised my voice and said to my husband "hey - there's that woman (I may not have said woman:rolleyes1) I told you about that was terrorizing her kid" She kind of glanced over at me.....but I don't think she knew I was talking about her. I'm guessing she thought I was talking about someone else - because she was such a wonderful mom:sad2: She may have figured it out eventually because we ran into them in the park a couple more times that day and each time I saw her I would say to DH "Hey - there's that woman again" Luckily on the other occaisons we saw them the kids did not look like they were terrified anymore so hopefully she got all that out of her system.
Well hopefully you gave her something to think about and she quit forcing her kid to ride things he was afraid of.
I understand that people pay alot of money for Disney and they want to do it all, but wow!

This makes me laugh!!! It's just so true. It's a total joke in your family! No matter what time of day it is, the High School Musical street show is coming or going. LOL

We had the same thing at Magic Kingdom in Dec. '09. Disney was doing alot of promoting for "The Princess and The Frog." Do matter what time of day or where we were in the park, we could hear it...Princess Tiana's Steamboat Jubilee! Going down the bayou....going down the bayou.....
For a while when ever we would turn on the Disney channel at home High School musical would be on and Rig swore it was haunting us.
I got to see Princess Tiana at MK on our last day, but only once, I loved the music but I think it would have gotten old too if I saw it as much as the high school musical deal at Hollywood studios.

I need to go back and apologize for this comment. I think I meant it to be teasing after all the earlier discussion -- but it was thoughtless and unkind. I'm sorry. I'm a big fan of this TR.
Thank you, that is really nice of you, and I accept your apology, I honestly didn't take offense to it though.
:flower3:

Back from our vacation and all caught up!!! Love the prank you pulled on Rig!

Ok, off to catch up on Nebo's TR now!
Hi and welcome back, I hope you had a great trip. That prank has gone down in the book of props, I earned many props when I shared this story at home.

Hi Lee,

Still lovin' the TR!

I am so glad that we are flexible with our kids at DW. Maybe it's because we know we'll be back again and again, but we always go with the flow, and have a great time. If we miss a ride, we'll catch it next time. DW and I only did Rockin' Roller Coaster for the first time this year, and TOT is on my "next time" list.

I can't imagine making an exhausted kid go on a ride; well okay, maybe once. It took a lot of coercion to get my kids into Bug's Life on the walk out after a long day at AK (our first ever Disney day come to think of it), but I had heard great things about it. After a lot of groaning and eye rolling from DD and DS, I finally got to yes. And as it turns out, it was a great cool break on a hot afternoon, and is still one of the magic moments we talk about - our first Disney 4D movie. We still laugh about us all getting "stung". :rotfl:

I sure hope this Mom knew her boy, and it turned out to be a magic moment for him too. Probably not, but for his sake you can always hope... All too often you see families going off the deep end because they are overwhelmed by the place and lose touch with reality; sometimes a reality check can help :goodvibes, so I understand why you had to try.

Keep writing; we don't want this ride to end, but the I think the station is in sight... :sad1:

Going with the flow in my opinion is the best way to get through Disney, We of course didn't know that there was any other way to do things, I'm gussing because life outside of Disney can be so hectic, we just wanted to relax and enjoy, and I agree with you, we'll go back, don't know when, but it will happen and we'll do the things we've missed then.

I agree the end is coming, maybe we all need to chip in for them to go back! :lmao:
That's sweet and funny:lmao:

I won't force my kids to ride either, and sometimes it is hard cause I know they will like something but don't want to force it. Two of my kids are really adventourous and one is somewhat but at 11 she hates to go upside down so no RnRC for her. I suppose I could trick her, but for what purpose? She will still ahve a great time even if she never rides it. I can't ride it and I still have a great trip.
I had a great time too regardless of the things I missed out on. Rock-n-roller coaster once was enough fro me.

I'm all caught up, and am really enjoying your trip! Long, hot days at Disney can make parents snap too. And Rig's right -- that boy will remember the good things much more than one meltdown by parents.
I'm glad I didn't see other parents snapping and forcing their kids to ride things that scared them, I only saw that once, but apparently I guess it happens alot.:confused3

I've really enjoyed this TR, it's like a great novel you can't put down!

I'm with everyone else in saying that 1. writing is a real talent that you have, and writing professionally is something you should look into. Even your grocery lists sound interesting! 2. You need to go back, because we all want an encore! ;)

I believe we were there for identical dates last year (minus 4 days on DCL), and it was really the absolute best trip ever for us as well. I keep racking my brain, did we see a cowboy with a busted up eye? :lmao:

popcorn::

My grocery list sounds interesting? I will let Rig know!
Thank you for reading and for your kind comments.

RigLee...where are you? LOL Waiting for the next chapter! :thumbsup2
I unexpectedly went out of town, but I am back now.
I missed all ya'll.

Okay Lee,

I went to Disney, had 4 days of fun, and come back... Not a single update missed. Hop to it!

Loving the TR and you and Rig sound completely adorable.
4 fun filled days at Disney, AWESOME! I dropped the ball, sorry, but I plan to update hot and heavy, I need to get this thing done soon, the holidays are approaching and I am going to get super busy then.

Oh man!!! You can't leave us hanging like that!!! :rotfl2:
I didn't, I came right back;)

I have just read your whole TR in the past few days! I have enjoyed reading it.
I'm glad you decided to post a pic of yourself. You are cute as a button! Now, if you would only post Rig's picture!:)

4 fun filled days at Disney, AWESOME! I dropped the ball, sorry, but I plan to update hot and heavy, I need to get this thing done soon, the holidays are approaching and I am going to get super busy then.

Yes, thank you SOO much :) Loved the update

I loved my new ears, and I think I wore them just as good as Rig wore his cowboy hat.
How nice of him to surprise you with ears! I can't wait to wear the bridal ears when I go for my honeymoon. :cloud9:

He found a few ladies sitting a few tables away from us, “Excuse me ladies, could I get some help from one of you, I just need somebody to witness my wife signing this document."
:rotfl2: OMG! You had me dying of laughter there!! :lmao: The note on the napkin, and the witness!!!

:rotfl: Another funny moment!!!

I couldn’t just drop off the laundry, I had to put it all away, Rig got settled watching cartoons and it was hard to drag him away from it once I was ready to go.

On the way back down I found a nice little rock and gave it to Rig. He looked at me with question.

“It’s a magic rock, I told him, try wishing you can beat me at Ping Pong.” I couldn’t hold my laugh back as I said it.

“You think your so funny don’t you?” Rig was smiling

“I’m hilarious.” I laughed

We found a couple ping pong balls laying in a plant next to the table and got our game started.

“Care to place a wager?” Rig asked

“No, I got what I needed already.” I said

“You’re just afraid you’ll lose this time.”

“I have no fear of that, trust me.”

“Then let’s up the anti.”

“Alright, I said, If I win, you do laundry for a whole month once we’re home.”

Rig made a face, “How about I do laundry one time when I get home.”

That just proved to me that his confidence was shaken, if he really thought he could beat me he would have agreed to one month.

“Twice.” I said

“OK, Rig said, and when, not if, but when I win, you will clean out Smitty and Banjos stall.”

I clean Banjos stall half the time anyway, so that wasn’t such a big deal to me.

“Agreed.”

The game was on, I scored the first point and the second and the third.
“You might want to rub on that magic rock, Rig.”

“I’m just warmin up Lee.”

Every time he would miss the ball, I had to add salt to the wound. “ooooo, sorry bout your luck Rig.” or “Score is I’m winning and your losing.”

Just to be nice I let Rig score a few points, but I assure you I had complete control of the whole game and in the end I won…again!

“And THAT!! Is how Leela does it.”
I did my best ping pong victory dance, which is very similar to my touchdown dance. Yes I have a touch down dance, I have never scored a touch down but it’s a good idea to have one just in case I ever have the chance to run the ball into the end zone, I would look ridiculous if I scored a touch down and didn’t have a dance for it.

“I want another rematch, Rig said, you jinxed me with your voodoo rock.”

We played again but agreed that the wager we placed earlier was still in effect, he would still have to do laundry twice. we placed another wager and Rig also picked up doing the dishes for a week.

“One more game Rig, cause I would love to have you detail my truck.”

“I’m done.” Rig said laying his paddle down on the table

I held my paddle up. “when I was in China on the all American ping pong team, I just loved playing ping pong with my Flexolite ping pong paddle.” I said that in my best Forest Gump voice.

Rig looked unimpressed, whether it was because my forest Gump impersonation stunk, or the fact that I was quoting movies again or maybe just because he lost at ping pong I will never know, “I’m going back to the room now.”

“You dropped this.” I said after him, Rig turned

“What?”

“Your game.”

“Babylee, have you ever heard of winning with dignity?”

“Huh-uh, no what’s that?” I smiled innocently. I was loving this because usually it’s Rig who gets to brag about winning, and let me tell you he is not a gracious winner at all. I was just feeding him a dose of ‘in your face’

I ragged on him all the way back to the room. When we got in the room I took a shower and when I came out all of the pictures Rig had drawn at Hollywood studios was laying on the bed.

“I was just admiring my work.” He said, let’s look at your pictures, oh wait, they’re in the trash.” Rig looked smug.

“Next to your ping pong game!” I fired back

Rig shook his head, “I don’t like what Disney has done to you.”

I laughed and threw my socks at him, “You did this to me," I started mocking him, “That’s how a cowboy does it, what’s loser taste like? Smells like loser in here."

“I like to revel in my victory.” he said throwing the socks back at me

“Well so do I.”

I laid down on the bed, “so how many props do I get for annihilating you in ping-pong?”

“You get exactly zero props.” Rig then went in to shower.

I had turned on the TV and was flipping but couldn’t find anything good to watch. So I switched it off and just laid thinking about the day, it was a good day, it seems like we didn’t do much but we did.

Rig came out of the shower and climbed into bed next to me. He turned the lights off and we snuggled into bed.

“Aren’t you going to ask me what my favorite part of the day was?” I asked Rig

“I’m sure of what you’ll say.”

“Really? Cause I was going to say my favorite part was fulfilling my contract with you, even if I was coerced into signing it.”

“Thank you babylee.”

“What was your favorite part of today?” I asked

“Every time you laughed, I love it when you’re happy, If I could fence in time I would fence in every happy moment with you.”

“I love it when you quote Hallmark cards to me.” I giggled

“That was a Rig original.”

“Goodnight my big dorky cowboy, I love you.”

You REALLY do have a talent for writing. Love reading your TR. You have a way of making the reader seem like they are there with you & Rig. Thanks for sharing - can't wait for the next update!

When we got in the room I took a shower and when I came out all of the pictures Rig had drawn at Hollywood studios was laying on the bed.

“I was just admiring my work.” He said, let’s look at your pictures, oh wait, they’re in the trash.” Rig looked smug.

You know, with your writing talent and Rig's illustrations, you could be a force. "Lil Cowboy Goes To Disney" ;) Maybe you're the next Robert Munsch and Rig is Michael Martchenko.

BTW - if you don't know who Robert Munsch is, just wait until you have kids - you will!

Thanks for the triple header! Onward to Expedition Everest...

Hi Lee.

We're back from our vacation. I see I have a lot of catching up to do. Thanks to your wonderful writing, DW and I tried to see Disney through your eyes. I gotta say, we really enjoyed ourselves trying it that way. It really helped bring some extra magic to our trip. Well off to catch up. :surfweb: TTYL.

I'm pretty sure Rig thought he was safe too, that's all I got to say about that!:lmao:
