My first trip report!

Gee SSRMonkey you look so sweet and innocent but with all the beer drinking, Springer watching and mischief making at Journey to Imagination I guess you are more than meets the eye.

Keep having fun! I am loving every minute of your report. Now my DS11 is hooked too.

This is very funny observation, ssrmonkey!

Have a few bananas on me

I'm not your average primate! I get myself into trouble from time to time. I don't get out of the house that often, so I'm making the most of it. My friend Koala tries to keep me on track!

Thanks for the bananas...yummy! And don't worry, I won't leave the banana peels out for anyone to trip on.

SSRMonkey - love your around the world pictures! What great memories!

We've stayed in handicapped studios before. I miss the extra counter space in the bathroom, but it is nice having the lower bed! Is your refrigerator by the bed or in the kitchenette area? At OKW, they always had it by the bed which was weird to me.

We're arriving early this evening (Friday) - should be at BCV around 6:30 or so, and I know we're going to Epcot (note to self: check park times for weekend) to watch Illuminations. I saw your pictures and that reminded me we wanted to do that.

Did you guys walk over to DHS or take the boat from BCV? I was wondering how long it takes to walk over. My own little monkeys are (almost) 12 and 10 1/2. They might complain if it's too long of a walk so I wanted to be prepared.

We'll keep an eye out for you around the resort. What day are you leaving?

I do miss the counter space too, but M+D put our cooler on the luggage thing for extra space. It's the perfect height for me to stand on to fix my hair!

The fridge is in the kitchenette. I didn't realize it could have been by the bed. That would have been awesome when I wanted a Coke! I'm pretty lazy you know!

When we went to DHS we drove. The walk over wouldn't have been bad, but after walking around the whole day I think the walk back wouldn't have been fun. I don't have any shoes so I know I would have been grumpy. I tried to get M+D to buy me some Mickey Crocs, but no such luck! I would recommend the boat if you won't have a car.

Today we're going back to Epcot for one last ride on Soarin and Test Track. We'll hang out at the resort for a bit and go to DD this evening. We check out early tomorrow morning to start home. :( I hate leaving! I'll be sure M+D leave me out of my bag while around BCV tonight just in case you're around!

Have a safe and fun trip! I hope you're little monkeys are better behaved than me!! :)

This is the best Trip Report EVER. Let us know when your next trip is and I
will arrange to be there. You really know how to have a good time! I want
to share in all the "monkeyshines". ;) :thumbsup2

Today we didn't do much. We went into Epcot first thing and got FP for Soarin then went to Test Track and walked right on. It was awesome! We didn't even have to watch the video!!

We toured some of the garden stuff and then headed back to Soarin for one last ride. It was great!

M+D had a pizza craving so we headed to Pizza Hut for lunch and then came back for some pool time. After that we went to a mall for some wandering around and then went to DD for a few last minute things and one more Wetzel's Pretzel...I'm addicted!

It was so hot today that we just hung out at the hotel for a while and decided to go back into the pool later this evening. Then we were hungry and headed to Beaches and Cream for some strawberry ice cream with sprinkles!!!

On our way to get ice cream we met nzdisneymom and her wonderful family! It was cool to meet some of my online friends in person. You have a very nice family and I hope you have a great time during your stay! Don't do anything I wouldn't do! (Of course, there's not a lot I wouldn't do, so you're pretty much home free!)

We've had a great time over the last week and aren't looking forward to going back to work and the "real world". I hold a full time job as the cat sitter while M+D are at work. It might not sound like a hard job, but you haven't met Chloe...

Ok, she's really a nice cat, she just happened to get caught mid-yawn...by a knife...it looks worse that it was. She's my buddy, but I have to keep her in line. :)

I can't wait for our December trip and I know I will have a trip report then!

See ya real soon!

SSRMonkey,
Thanks for such a great trip report!! I loved all the pictures, even Chloe's, although I wasn't quite awake and it scared me at first! :rotfl:

Looking forward to your next trip report... Maybe your Mom and Dad would let you do a "trip report" of a day spent with Chloe to hold us until your next Disney trip.

Great trippie! We'll be at SSR too for Christmas so I'll have the kids keep an eye out for you. Have a safe trip home.

Hey, we'll be at Disney to during this time, so we'll be on the lookout for you too! Our home is at the other end of Disney at AKV. Cool report-thoroughly enjoyed it! ;)

SSRMonkey - we enjoyed getting to meet you and your family on Friday night. I'm glad we bumped into you (well, not literally bumped). That was fun.

I'll post our trip report separately but wanted to say thanks to your dad for the tip about plugging directly into the modem - even though it didn't work, what we found out was that the IT guys needed to replace the modem - which they did today (Saturday) and thus it will be ready for the next members who stay. The IT guy was really nice and I told him that I had been talking with another member who suggested the modem direct connect - he said that is actually a better way to connect :) Anyway, he couldn't get the modem to reset and it was shot, but when we got back at lunch today, it was all good to go - a nice fresh modem and the network cord plugged in and waiting!

Hope you had a safe trip home.

Hello 10thousandvolt's son! You are SO close! You just have two countries switched. See if you can figure out which ones! I'm very impressed!

For everyone else, thanks for the well wishes for the trip home. I only got car sick once when Mom was driving. She gets a little distracted...

Chloe hasn't attacked me yet since we got home, but M+D go back to work tomorrow so we'll see what happens. Perhaps I will post a day of life with Chloe one of these days.

Well, of to bed for a hard day of work tomorrow. It's been fun and can't wait to do it all again. Hopefully I will meet some of you in December.

tenthousand's son here again- Mom and I aren't sure- but maybe we got Italy and France mixed up?

I thought the Gargoyle was from Fance because I was thinking of that movie Hunchback with the gargoyles on the roof of the church. My school bus is coming now- but I will check back when I get home at 4o'clock. :)

SSR monkey - you are so creative and hilarious!!! Thanks for sharing your trip report with us all - I really love that you got Chip (or is that Dale?) to pose with you! Fabulous! I also love all your wardrobe changes!;)

SSRMonkey: you are inspiring our PalMickey for the July trip. Unfortunately his wardrobe is very limited compared to yours. And you get many more interesting treats and snacks. hmmmm We don't want him to feel like he's disadvantaged.

Thanks for the great report!
