Spirous isn't named Spirou in the Netherlands! I thought it could be a possibility after I posted... I searched and just learned it ceased to be published in 2005 in the Netherlands too... So sad!

Does Robbedoes rign a bell? Spirou is the french name...
(Of course I don't understand a word of dutch... if that page is really in dutch... could be in flemish... but if it is in dutch, some words are the same as in french! Like "auteurs". If you follow the link I gave you and click on "auteurs" on the left of the page, and then on "Bédu" in the list, you'll see one of my favorite comics : De psy ("Les psy" in french). Translation : The psychologists. I discovered it when I was studying psychology, and it's really funny!

Would you believe I finally compared our itineraries?!

We won't be often in the same parks at the same time, but here it is :
-If on May 6th Michael decides it's a water park, and it's TL, we'll be there too! (from about noon to... as soon as we're tired of it. Could be as early as 2pm, or until closing!).
-May 7th, we'll also be in MK, but only in the morning
-May 8th, we'll also be in HS, but only in the morning
-May 9th, of course, we'll be at the P&PP too!!!

BUT. And there's one (but) : our plan is not set in stone. We could decide not to follow it at all... But I'll keep and eye open for you and your blond devil!

I'm sorry, it has been a while since I posted something here, but here I am again.
For us it is also not sure if we will stick to our itinerary, we just made it, and we will see when we are there.

Michael and I had our birthdays, it was great, and we got lots of presents. Michael ofcourse a lot of Lego, and I got for example a new Senseo Coffeemaker, and tickets for a concert of a Dutch Band called Doe Maar. And money, so I can spend that on musicals and performances of a Dutch singer/musicalstar and other things, Bastiaan Ragas. Musicals and Bastiaan are 2 of my favorite things.

We are now really counting the days before we leave. Our suitcases are making another trip at this moment, before they are going to Florida. Marco's parents are in Thailand at this moment, and took our suitcases. When they are back, we can start packing, and it will be really soon that we will leave!

I think I will go next week to the bank to get some dollars, and I guess everything is set now.

Aren't you sooo excited now! I know I am!

I followed the links to Bastiaan's videos and listened (and watched too, handsome!)... he's really good! I'll make a note (I have a notebook with litterally dozens of pages of songs, artists or albums I want to either buy or... I know, shame on me... download... I know, I know. I really hate it. But I try to buy as much as I can. I must say though, some of those things you just can't find anywhere... And I know it's no excuse at all, but I do have more than 1000 original, dutifully paid CDs or virtual equivalent)

I so get you and your love of musicals!!! I could go and see one each week (at least!).
I'm lucky as there is a new found love for those in Quebec these days, so they are making more... Plus, aren't we lucky, Hollywood has rediscovered the power and fun of movie musicals , and since Chicago, there are more and more! Hairspray was the best thing since Grease!!! I can't wait for Fame this summer!

...When you say you "do" Bastiaan's fan club... do you mean you're managing it (running it)? Or just a member?

Did you have fun at the videoclip shoot?
I did a videoclip shoot last year for an up-and-comer artist here in Quebec (Étienne Drapeau : http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=MEvnf1qIwd4), but it's not like I'm a fan or anything, and it was inside an old parking garage (smelly, humid and hot, for a very long shoot day). Even though I can't say it was no fun at all, and I can say the guy was a gentlement and very kind, I did it mostly to help. (and no, you can't really see me in the clip ).

Well... Thailand! You're suitcases will have a lot to tell the others on the plane...

I just can't imagine our trip is only 26 days away!
I made a map with all the important info about our trip. Yesterday we sat together, and see what we still had to do, but I guess most of the things are ok now. We will receive more information and papers for our flight and our hotel in Fort Myers from a travel agency here in the Netherlands, Miami and Key West we booked ourselfs.
We booked our Disney part at Dreams Unlimited, we will get these papers at Disneyworld.

The info we gathered from the internet for all the things we want to do, I guess is ok, but maybe you have some suggestions for me?

We start in Miami, stay there for one night, and will leave then for Key West.
That day I think we will go to Wal Mart in Florida City to do some shopping, and stop at some Keys to see what is there. ( does anyone have some tips for visiting something there? ). At the end arriving at Key West.
We have 2 full days at Key West, we want to do a trolley tour one day, and the other day I guess some walking in the city and swimming/sunbathing. Maybe a snorkeltrip? And ofcourse the sunset at Mallory Square.

Then we leave for Fort Myers Beach. When we are driving from Key West to Fort Myers Beach ( we leave early in the morning) we want to do a airboatride ( maybe someone has a tip for me wich one?).
At Fort Myers we also have 2 full days. One day we want to go to Sanibel and Captiva Islands, other day some swimming and shopping.

And then it is time to go to Disneyworld! I've placed that part already.

Well, if you have some tips for me for our trip, they are always welcome.

That sounds like a wonderful road trip! It takes alot of planning and energy to plan such a trip, but it's fun!

Since it is indeed a lot of planning, and it is busy also, I haven't been updating for a while, sorry. But here we are again.
Tomorrow my parents in law are coming back, the went for 3 weeks to Thailand. Then we have our suitcases back and we can really start packing.
We have dollars for the first days, all the travel papers we need arrived. I just can't image it is just a little more then a week that we will go to Florida.
I made a booklet with all the information, vouchers, etc. I think ( and hope ) I have all the info I need for this trip!

Thank you! I can't believe it too it is almost time to go. Our suitcases are almost packed, and I bought another baf for in the plane, didn't like the one I have.
Unfortunately Michael is ill at this moment. He has a cold, and since he has asthma, it is not so good. Hopefully he will feel better soon..

We are not away yet, just one more day. I'm packing the last things, and checking all the papers again. Tomorrow, early in the morning we will leave for Schiphol Airport and then we are on our way. I hope to meet you all too, and for those who are leaving soon too, have a great trip!

Ok, I haven't got time to start with the report yet, but here are some teasers.

- We have been in Charlotte, North Carolina... why???
- My ds was afraid of little animals, but was not afraid of animals with big teeth??
- Did we get a dream?
- Did we get towel animals or not?
- Michael is afraid for rollercoasters who go upside done, did we do the Roxk 'n Roller coaster?
- Did my Lego man Michael get Lego, and what happened with it?
- Did we like Mickeys Princess and Pirates party

I will make a report from our Disneypart, and I think a small report about the Key West and Fort Myers part, or do you like a bigger one?
