Day Nine: Leaving for home :(
June 14, 2002

We got up at about 7:30am or so to get ready and get everything together. Our towncar driver was coming at 9:10 am so we needed to be ready. Express checkout wasn't working for me for some reason so I had to go down to the front desk. I had used my debit card for the referenced card to charge....well stupid Wells Fargo has a daily limit of 500 bucks or something so I had to charge the extra couple hundred which I thought was stupid. I'm on vacation! Let me spend what I want. They told me it was for my own safety, but when it's inconveniencing me, then it's annoying. They wouldn't even answer the Customer Service line....oh well. So anyway, I got that taken care of and went back up to get everything ready. We still had half of our food left! We didn't have room to pack it either! So we just left it. Bell Services came up and took our bags down for us. We took one last look around the room and headed down. We didn't realize it until ten minutes after we'd been outside, but our towncar driver was already there. We got in (Barely fitting the bags) and headed to the airport. Boy the ride seemed longer from the BW to the airport than it did on the way in! The driver first dropped Erika off at the A terminal and then dropped us off at the B terminal. We did curbside check in and what a lifesaver!! the lines were out the door, who knows if we would have made our flight. Since we had planned on lines though we had two hours to do whatever. We found our gate and then headed out to the area with the food and souvenir shops. We ate some deli sandwiches and I bought a couple of Disney magnets. We got on our plane and everything was fine. We landed in Cincinatti and then got on the plane back to Minneapolis. We didn't have any delays! My stepdad was waiting for us and the airport and all our bags were there too! What luck!

Looking back I would say it was a pretty good vacation. I wish we would have spent another day at Magic Kingdom because I now realize that is my favorite park. I also would have liked another night at the Wilderness Lodge. If you asked me what my favorite thing about the trip was I would say the Boardwalk view room ;) Mike would probably say Cirque or Space Mountain. I have no clue what Erika would say ;)

I have enjoyed reading them. We used curbside check in this past April and it was so fantastic ...especially with the eight of us...thanks again for your great vacation.....I had fun going with you.....;)

Fantastic first trip reports! I read & enjoyed them all. My girls were wanting to do Cirque too, but we're doing Discovery Cove & the Halloween party as extras this time, so I told them it'd have to wait until next trip. I'm wondering if my 7yr old DGD is a bit too young for it yet. Thanks for sharing, I sure enjoyed reading!

I have enjoyed reading your trip report so much. I would love to try out that Boardwalk Villa sometime but I don't own in the vacation club and don't know if that is possible. We love Epcot and that would be great to be so close. It sounds like you had an awesome trip and I am sure you can't wait to go back!:D

Thanks for posting your report :D ! It sounds like you had a great vacation. The Boardwalk is definately my favorite hotel and I would LOVE to stay there someday. Your view sounded so amazing :) !

Great reports – I'm looking forward to your next ones!
