My First Trip as a Grown-up! *gasp*

Hey everyone! Maybe it's a little early for this but here goes...

I talked my BF into a Disney vacation!!!


Who: Me, 21 & DBF, 22
Resort: POP Century
Dates: Jan 6th - 12th 2009
ADRs: Trail's End, Sci-Fi Dine-In, Coral Reef, Tusker House, LeCellier

I have to call back on Tuesday for LeCellier. We also plan on going to Big River @ BoardWalk but they told me today they don't take ADRs.

Since we're college students, January was perfect for us. We have a whole month off between semesters, there's low crowd levels and cool weather (DBF hates the heat). But it also means we have a very limited budget. We've already bought the plane tickets and will be buying our park tickets at the end of the month so that will be some relief. Here's a question: We can buy tickets this year to use in 2009, right?

So this is DBFs first ever trip, and he's not that excited. So I'm really hoping that it turns into one of those funny stories about how after the trip he does a 180 and wants to go back again and again... *crosses fingers*

So since this is the first trip I've gotten to plan I'm counting on advice from fellow DISers!

So far we have most of our ADRs, and plane tickets are bought. I haven't made hotel reservations yet because I want to wait until 2009 prices are released in the end of August. Plus I'm hoping we'll be able to get some kinda deal. I also plan on getting a AAA membership, with $50 for a year we save $110 on hotel!! All for now.

Jan. is a great time to go we have been 2 times in Jan. and the line a small!
BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT UP WITH ALL THE CHEER LEADERS!! hahah!
