Hello, we flew on Thursday the 10th with someone with a peanut allergy and they told us there would eb no peanuts served but pretzels instead (plus we got the "mix" bag). They did not mention to us to not eat peanut items on board. I would show the people at the gate post your medical stuff and let them know you need to preboard and sit near your kids!
We also cannot print boarding passes from home. My husband is on the TSA list as now my 14 yr old son. I even bought the tickets seperate and still couldn't do it because te 14yr old is now on it. We got the paperwork to attempt to get them off the lists.
My 13 year old has Retinitis Pigmentosa and is legally blind. He has a 20% visual field and that affects his up, down and side (perphial) vision. I am able to preboard with him to get him down the ramp safely and into the plane without rushing. In ALB, only us 2 can preboard but at MCO they let all 4 of us preboard. My son doesn't "look" any different than a regular 13 yr old but is at a clear disadvantage for many normal things to us.
